The property

West Lodge is a unique and historic building, dating back to the early 1800’s. The detached one bedroom property is one of a pair of gate lodges which stand at the entrance to the West Park Estate (see also East Lodge-H200). West Lodge has been completely refurbished and imaginatively extended to provide unusual and highly desirable holiday accommodation, graded 4 stars and Gold Award by Visit England.

Inside, the property is stylishly furnished and all the accommodation is on ground floor level, with bright and attractive octagonal shaped rooms.

A really unique and special place to stay. The one bedroom has one super king size double.

The bathroom has a shower over the bath, basin and WC. Fordingbridge is a traditional Hampshire town on the banks of the River Avon, and offers a good mix of shops, pubs and restaurants, a small museum of local history and a display or original work by the artist Augustus John, who lived here for many years. The medieval Great Bridge with seven graceful arches, is a wonderful place for visitors, with its beautiful scenery, nature havens, cycleways and welcoming people.Fordinghambridge is conveniently situated for the magnificent cathedral city of Salisbury to the north, and the super seaside resort of Bournemouth to the south.

The stunning New Forest National Park is only 1.5 miles from the town, where you can explore thousands of acres of moor, heath and woodland. The West Lodge is a fabulous rustic retreat positioned in an area with plenty of history and attractions to look at.
