The ground-floor is also home to the kitchen/diner, which is fitted with an oven, hob and an American-style fridge/freezer and is the perfect space for the chef of the group to whip up a tasty dinner for the group.

On the ground floor is a handy spacious utility room with plenty of space for various tasks, or crafts. When it is time to rest there are nine bedrooms to choose from, seven of which have en-suite rooms, with sleeping arrangements ranging from family rooms, to doubles, to twins, and one lone single room for anyone who enjoys their own space.

One bedroom is the ground floor-ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Finishing off the home is 2 further bathrooms so you will not be short of places to freshen up throughout your stay.

If you are looking to just eat, drink, and relax, you won't be short of pubs and restaurants in the area either!

Venturing further away from the town and along the coast, you will reach the lovely coastal town of Flamborough, home to a golf club and Selwicks Bay, making a chilled out day for the beach lovers and golfers.

From here, venture further up the coast to Filey to visit the popular Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park, or simply stroll through the idyllic Filey Brigg Country Park.

BRIDLINGTON

Filey 10 miles; Scarborough 20 miles.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the spectacular heritage coastline. There are numerous places to visit in the area, including Bempton's RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves. A great area for bird and nature lovers, or simply for touring.
