  • "We had a great stay at Sunrise Lodge."

The location of the property is absolutely perfect for the beach. 20 minute walk to the supermarket, 10 minute to local amenities. We loved the walled garden. The view from the property is breathtaking. Last minute walk round to make sure we had packed everything for our return journey back to Scotland. Loved the look of all the bedrooms and family rooms aswell. Would I say again

  • "Amazing Beachfront house with Panoramic Seaviews We stayed at Sunrise Lodge as a large family gathering and had a fantastic time."

We were looking for a large house on a beachfront and found this place which seemed to be ideal. We decided on this one because it had some off street parking and garden as well as the sea views and beach access, and to be honest it turned out great. The garden was perfect for the afternoon and evening sun and had a lovely patio area with picnic tables. There was a large lawn for the kids to play on snd it was totally secure for our dog too. There was a large new kitchen which was lovely and a huge dining area for us all to use. The dining room and main lounge was open plan where you could see the sea on one side and then the beautiful garden to the rear. The house really had a lovely feel and flow to it. The ground floor lounge was comfortable for us, and the room next to it had a 2nd TV for the kids to use. On top of that upstairs was another lounge area which was massive and great for playing our board games. This room has a spectacular massive window looking out over the sea! The bedrooms were all very nicely presented with modern furnishings mixed with period features and high Victorian ceilings. Nearly every room had glorious wide panoramic sea views too.... quite breathtaking to be honest! The ground floor bedroom was great for my elderly parents who don't like the stairs and it had a ground floor bathroom too. The beach is literally opposite so we could walk 20 seconds to get to the paddling pools and beach, we were on there morning noon and night most days with the kids! Locally there was a pub and restaurant a few doors down that did breakfast, lunch and evening meals and you could get a loyalty card to get 20% off too so that was handy. It was a short walk down to the town centre too so there was lots of things to do during our stay. There was one or two small things to be finished as I think it’s been newly renovated but overall it was very well presented and a lovely place to stay for a few days with all the family. Alison was a superb host too, super friendly with great communication, making us feel really welcome at Sunrise Lodge. An amazing house in a fantastic location, couldn’t recommend it enough, we will definitely be back!
