The property

The Estate is a grand countryside escape spread across seventy acres of private Sussex land, quietly tucked away on the edge of Hailsham, a charming and traditional market town.

Designed for large gatherings, family get-togethers and milestone celebrations, this remarkable retreat brings together four distinctive properties, the Farmhouse, Flint Cottage, Tudor Cottage and The Goat Shed, each with its own character, yet all sharing the same air of peace and seclusion.

Inside the Farmhouse, you’ll find six thoughtfully designed bedrooms, four boasting their own en-suites, as well as a spacious sitting room made for laughter-filled evenings, a generous dining space and a sleek, well-equipped kitchen built to handle big family meals.

Flint Cottage provides an inviting base with three en-suite doubles, its own lounge and kitchen, while Tudor Cottage sets the scene for couples seeking a romantic hideaway, complete with a grand four-poster bed and elegant bathroom.

The Goat Shed stands apart with panoramic views over the rolling fields and a fully self-contained setup for those wanting a little extra privacy.

The grounds are what truly set The Estate apart.

You can wander through private woodland paths, picnic by the ponds, or simply spend time with the resident alpacas, rheas and horses that roam the fields.

Each accommodation includes WiFi and television for convenience, while ample parking, fresh linens and towels make settling in effortless.

When it’s time to explore, the Sussex coast is easily reached, with Eastbourne and Hastings offering beaches, piers and seaside charm.

Further afield, Brighton beckons with its lively lanes and independent shops, while Tunbridge Wells provides a dose of refined heritage and culture.

For something truly unforgettable, head towards Beachy Head or the Seven Sisters cliffs for some of the best views in southern England.

Whether you’re raising a glass in the dining hall or retreating to your private corner of the grounds, The Estate delivers an exceptional countryside experience where comfort, space and tranquillity all come together.

Note: This property has a refundable Good Housekeeping bond of £350.
