  • "A very comfortable lodge in ideal location for exploring the Suffolk coast and surrounding areas."

    The facilities were more than adequate and the bed was extremely comfortable. For us, the only downside was in trying to contact Sykes after arriving home as we had left an item at the lodge. The virtual chat facility did not work for us and there was no owner details for us to contact them directly.

  • "Very pleased with the lodge, the site is very good one of the best we have stayed on, clean, well set out, quite and secure."

    The lodge it's self was very good, well equiped, comfortable and in most part clean. Minor issues, on i must stress we did not bring these to the owners attention during our stay as they were minor and we could live with it. 1. Shortage of tea spoons, only one. 2. Some of the plates and cups were put back into the cupboard not really clean still with food residue. We washed every thing up, so proplem solved, but should have been checked. But everything else was as advertised and we really enjoyed our stay.

  • "Lodge 47 was lovely, well maintained and clean."

    Directions to the park were clear as were instructions for getting into the park / finding keys. The park is very quiet and peaceful even though the lodges are quite close together. We ate out so didn’t use the kitchen much but it is very well equipped. The master bedroom is comfy and having two bathrooms is very useful - single beds are small for adults. Internet speed is excellent. There are lots of pubs serving food within driving distance and the on site cafe serves nice coffee. We used lodge 47 as a base and drove out to explore this part of Suffolk, so for what we wanted it’s ease of access to main road was useful. The park is not really a base if you are needing public transport / want to walk to a pub.

  • "Lovely comfortable accommodation kitted out with everything you could wish for and more!"

    Quiet well run park full of people that seem to have the time of day for others which was nice to see. The free on site gym has superb equipment and spotlessly clean shower/changing facilities. The site is gated so you feel much more secure here and the site itself is located in a wonderful area for touring - lovely lodge to come back to at the end of the day. An added bonus is to have the host Daphne on site and she is very approachable and welcoming. The lodge and its location have a lot going for it.

  • "What a gem of a lodge."

    Spotlessly Clean, lovely decor and a great size. The site was so quiet and peaceful and the lodge had everything that you could think of as if you were at home. The beds were comfortable and we had a great nights sleep and the big TV was a nice addition too. We also used the gym which was a bonus. Communication with Daphne was 100% and she was very helpful and accommodating when we wanted to stay for longer and also when we asked for help. We are definitely going back to Number 47. We cannot fault it.

  • "The Lodge was very well laid out, lots of useful amenities within the property meant, that we weren't left lacking for utensils or other cookware."

    There was a wonderful community which we met on the first day of our stay. All of whom we met were very friendly and welcoming! With offers as well, that should we need help, we needed only to ask. Which was a great feeling. The site itself, is very well maintained and wonderfully kept, something to really appreciate as we relaxed in peace. With the space in the Lodge, we were very happy as there was plenty of room for clothes and mobility aids that I needed to bring with me. Overall, a wonderful Lodge, one that should the chance arise, we'd happily come back, thank you very much for letting us stay there!

  • "This was without doubt, the nicest Sykes property we have stayed in."

    Everything was so tasteful and the lodge was very clean. The listing doesn't actually do the lodge justice - there were so many things that went unmentioned and lots of little extras to make our stay comfortable. The site was lovely and the people very helpful and friendly. Daphne and Malcolm were perfect hosts, checking in to see everything was okay but without intruding in any way.

    From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay, we had a great time. Well we initially the tv didn’t have Netflix, the owners were incredibly responsive and promptly provided us with fire stick that had a multitude of channels to watch.   • "The holiday lodge was comfortable, well equipped and in a quiet rural location, it is situated on a small holiday park which is well maintained with gated access which gave us a feeling of security."

    The owners gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful and friendly. The lodge contains an information folder which was very helpful and some tourist information leaflets for anyone wanting to explore the area.

  • "The lodge was perfect in every way."

    Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our break. There was a nice welcome pack on arrival and the owners had even gone to the trouble of putting up Christmas decorations. Nicely situated in the countryside but only 5 minutes from a couple of supermarkets for provisions. The nearby pub - The Shannon - was very friendly when we popped in for a meal. Would certainly like to return.
