  • "This is a great cottage it had all the equipment you needed for a stay ."

My daughter loved watching the boats and the docks from her bedroom upstairs .It is lovely and peaceful ,you can also see the deer in the garden and land in front of you it’s a shame it has a high wooden fence .We loved the cake it was delicious it was also my daughters birthday .The downsides of it were we all found the pillows very flat I think they might have been feather ones my husband did not find the mattress on the king size bed comfortable either.I loved the styling of the cottage but found the sofas very low and the stairs a little tricky due to my mobility .They are cottage stairs which is sometimes mentioned but not in this listing .we all had a restful stay and also enjoyed some games nights with the great games provided.

  • "A lovely cottage, we had a fantastic holiday."

Cottage is beautifully presented and very clean . Clear instructions for the house and amenities were provided and accurate. The setting is beautiful with an estuary in view from the windows upstairs - lots of wildlife to see - plenty of Deer, birds - a barn owl hunts each evening in the meadow opposite the Ship Inn .- we think we even had a spotting of the Fen Tiger. Well worth a visit and thanks to Kim the host who answered a couple of questions with ease and kindness.
