R Houses ( Rural House) are a great Hebridean addition to the landscape and make for lovely open plan Scandi living. There were a few improvements we would suggest. 1. The bed linen and towels were not to the same high standard as they didn’t feel/smell fresh. This probably came from storing too long in the chest or storing unaired. In addition the bed sheet in the upstairs double didn’t fit the mattress well. 2. The upstairs double room door didn’t close fully as it’s too tight to the floor. Couldn’t have been a new problem. 3. Kitchen utensils were generally good but we needed more chopping boards . There was a single medium size cafetière which was not the best. Pls add some more !
