the property is desperately in need of a deep clean, as requested we contacted the person on the booking form twice whilst en-route with no reply, when we arrived the key was in the porch door. it is a long way to travel with this uncertainty. the directions were poor the property was at the rear of a campsite down a lane well off the main road. we found a dead pigeon near the back door which we dispatched to the dustbin.the grass needed cutting and generally the property was short of some T.L.C.we were there two days before anyone came to see us. this is our first time with sykes and i have another property booked in september so i will wait to see how that works out before booking any more. P.S. we traveled over to the the isle of lewis from skye and stayed in a property much cheaper but much better prepared and more welcoming.
