  • "Had such a lovely stay, we loved the location it was so serene and tranquil was a lovely break the beds were the comfiest we have all ever slept in we have the pillows on order however some things I’d change would be the furniture (sofa) in the lounge (not comfy) but gaps in the decking are huge, items will be lost."

Great stay over all though would definitely come again.

  • "Loved the place!"

Beds very comfortable and location perfect. The whole stay was just what was needed. The only fault and when I say fault it was tolerable but the settee and chairs in the living room where not very comfortable at all. All in all we a really enjoyed our mini break and would certainly love to come back some day.

  • "This property is beautiful, private and exactly what we hoped for."

It would have been nice to have some instructions in relation to the fire and aga but luckily a previous resident had left some for the aga. The seating in the living room is not fit for purpose as it is not comfortable for 6 adults and there was an issue with the upstairs bathroom which I did notify the owner of but as we stayed at Christmas we did not expect it to be fixed and we used the other room. That being said the beds were very comfortable and it was clear time and money had gone into the thought process. The garden is not secure for small dogs as I found out but it is lovely. It was superb to be able to sit in the hot tub Christmas day with no other noise around just beautiful scenery. We would definitely go back

  • "Lovely cabin, had a fabulous time."

Loved loved the hot tub, thank you! The microwave wasn't working all week and I called one of the contact numbers and left a message to let them know. Also there was no can opener so we bought one and left it there for you. The kitchen knives definitely need sharpening! Furniture is lovely and pure quality. We all agreed with one of the guests comments though that the sofa and chair in the lounge are really hard to sit on comfortably. The information on the cabin (hot tub, Aga, bin collections days, where and who to to buy bags of wood from once we used the one left etc and info on the surrounding area could be improved and could definitely do with some information on long walks that you can take dogs on which are accessible on foot from the cabin. Also where are good places to eat locally. Overall we had a lovely time, thank you. We will be back!

Hot tub was lovely and clean and looked out across the fields so very secluded. Everything you could possibly need was provided for your comfort. Would highly recommend if you're looking to get away and just relax.

  • "This cabin is absolutely lovely!"

4 adults and 3 sausage dogs. We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay at the cabin. The cleanliness of the place was incredible. Our 3 little sausages loved it as did we! Will definitely be returning! Couldn’t thank the owners enough for this beautiful place! Can’t wait to come back again!

  • "Lovely cottage that was missing all the nice bits although this is probably due to covid."

However a small welcome pack and touches such as bathrobes and extra large towels would be appropriate when considering how much we paid for the cottage. The hot tub was lovely and the surroundings were idyllic with brook running down the side of the cottage just beautiful. The place was fenced but certainly wasn’t dog secure as our spaniel showed us on more than one occasion. This is a personal thing but the sofas could be more homely and snuggly however the beds were very comfortable. All in all a lovely place in beautiful surroundings which with a homely touch would be so much better.

  • "Initially was disappointed that the advertised play equipment was not present on arrival (had no pre-warning) about this."

It was one of the reasons we booked this property over other properties. There was many positives throughout though that helped create a peaceful and relaxing break. The hot tub was fantastic

  • "We absolutely loved this place, a total gem."

Pictures do not do it justice at all. Very spacious indeed and well equipped. Location is wonderful. Be aware that the wifi is flaky at best and expect to see plenty of people through the week coming to check on and maintain the hot tub. The small.activity centre in the picture has been replaced by a bench so the kids slightly disappointed but the hot tub made up.for it. This place gets booked up quick so dont let the opportunity go - you wont be disappointed!

Pines Pitch cabin met all of our expectations and more. Had a lovely weeks stay here and everything we needed was to hand. Enjoyed the open plan space and the lovely bedroom in it's own little cabin (or so it seemed). Dogs loved the open space to run around in and the hot tub was lovely to end our day in. Thankyou and will be booking again

  • "Was a little disappointed with not 1 wardrobe at the lodge so know where to hang clothes apart from a broken rail i found in a room."

Lodge was lovely but did lack just a few essential things like the wardrobes or hanging rails, small frying pan, cheese grater, hair dryer and fans for hot nights. Seems small but really missed as always had them at every cottage we have stayed in. On the whole a great place.

  • "Perfect last minute get away."

. we couldn’t believe our look finding such a gem! Beautiful views, gorgeous secluded cottage and large well maintained garden. All of the fixtures and fittings are top quality, and we were left some complimentary welsh cakes on arrival! The fully enclosed garden was great for our 2 young children and 3 large dogs (who the owner accepted no problem and at no extra charge). The play area was another added bonus for the children, and we enjoyed a family dip in the hot tub most days! Lots of lovely places nearby to go for a walk or take the children, the Small breeds farm park and owl centre was a huge hit for us! The owners couldn’t have been more helpful when we encountered car trouble, and quickly came to our rescue! Thanks so much, we will definitely be back x
