From exposed beams to the soft glow of a woodburning stove, every corner has been designed to make you feel instantly at home.

Inside, the spacious kitchen/diner offers everything you need for home-cooked suppers, from an electric oven and hob to a dishwasher and generous counter space.

It’s a warm, sociable room where morning coffees stretch into lazy breakfasts, and hearty dinners can be shared after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.

A separate utility room keeps the practicalities neatly out of the way.

The sitting room is wonderfully elegant, centred around the woodburning stove that invites you to settle into one of the two sumptuous sofas with a glass of wine or a good book.

Exposed beams overhead and soft lighting create a welcoming atmosphere that’s ideal for evenings in, chatting, reading, or simply enjoying the peace.

Upstairs, the three bedrooms are thoughtfully presented with a calming palette and comfortable furnishings.

The main double benefits from an en-suite walk-in shower room, while the second double and twin room share a stylish bathroom complete with a freestanding bath, perfect for long, indulgent soaks.

A handy cloakroom on the ground floor adds further convenience.

Step outside to make the most of the cottage’s countryside setting.

The rear garden offers a lovely patio space for alfresco dining, while the first-floor terrace is a delightful spot for morning coffee as the sun rises over the surrounding fields or evening drinks as the day winds down.

When you’re ready to explore, Hereford offers highlights such as its magnificent cathedral, the world-famous Mappa Mundi, and the evocative Black and White House Museum.

Adventure seekers can head into Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, where you can follow mountain trails, watch for wildlife around peaceful lakes, or take on the iconic climb to Pen y Fan.

Over in Gloucester, discover the stunning architecture of Gloucester Cathedral, wander the atmospheric Victorian docks with their waterside cafés, or delve into the region’s heritage at the National Waterways Museum.
