  • "We had a fantastic time, the caravan was clean and well appointed, and we were very pleased."

    The only small complaint was that the mattress was not very comfortable. Everything else was spot on.

As soon as you walk into Owl, you’ll instantly be surprised by the open-plan living space, which hosts everything you need to prepare, cook and enjoy delicious meals with your family.

Gather around the dining table, as you toast to a memorable stay over a cold glass of bubbly, tucking in as conversation turns to your upcoming plans for the days ahead.

If you prefer to dine alfresco, why not step out onto your own private decking with furnishings for a peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere; pop corks and admire the distant views until sundown, before retreating to the inviting sitting room to warm up in front of the electric fire.

SHOBDON

Hereford 17 miles; Leominster 6 miles.

The pleasant village of Shobdon lies between the historic market towns of Leominster and Presteigne, and is surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside, close to the Welsh borderlands. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, Shobdon has a village shop, an excellent pub/restaurant, and even a private airfield, providing a rare opportunity to learn how to fly helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Leominster, dating back to the 7th century possesses some fine examples of architecture including the Priory Church, along with a wide selection of shops, cafes, antiques centres and pubs - an ideal place to spend an afternoon. Close by are many National Trust properties including Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, plus the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne, Stokesay Castle, the renowned Shropshire Discovery Centre and the Acton Scott Historic Farm. Sample Herefordshire's cider or discover Hereford with its fascinating Mappa Mundi world map and the captivating chained library, home to a collection of rare and ancient books. The pretty medieval market town of Ludlow is also close by and makes a great day out, with more than 500 listed buildings and a magnificent castle.
