The property

Crofters Suite is a glorious pod resting near the scenic Highland village of Acharacle, offering a refined escape for couples seeking relaxation and time together.

Perfectly suited to two guests, this beautifully presented hideaway promises an inviting base with standout wellness features, including a hot tub, outdoor infrared sauna and cold plunge pool, ideal for embracing peaceful surroundings.

When you arrive, park and make your way towards Crofters Suite, taking in the fresh countryside air as the landscape opens around you.

The curved black exterior of the pod comes into view, framed by its front decked terrace.

As you walk towards the entrance, you pass inviting outdoor furniture and the warm, gently rising steam from the hot tub, giving you an early hint of the relaxation waiting for you inside.

Stepping through the door, you are welcomed into a bright and uplifting open-plan layout where wooden panelled walls blend harmoniously with soft white, green and pink tones.

The layout flows naturally around you, beginning with the compact kitchen where you can prepare a morning drink or a simple supper while surrounded by hanging plants that add character to the space.

Just beside it, the circular dining table for two creates a lovely setting to enjoy an unhurried breakfast or a quiet evening meal together.

From here, the sitting area invites you to settle onto the sofa for two, with the mounted TV positioned for easy viewing during peaceful evenings.

The king-size bed rests beyond, creating a restful sleeping area that feels both inviting and serene.

Robes are thoughtfully provided, ideal for slipping into after time spent outdoors.

The shower room continues the pod’s warm, natural character.

Wooden panelling and plants add softness, while the gold tap and heated rail bring a gentle touch of indulgence.

The large walk-in shower is perfect for rinsing away the outdoors after a day of exploring, releasing a refreshing burst of warmth that leaves you revitalised.

Stepping back outside, the wider garden stretches around you, with its lawned areas and tranquil pond sitting further across the grounds.

The wellness features sit close to the terrace, offering seamless access to moments of relaxation.

After easing your muscles in the hot tub, wrap yourself in the provided robes before warming up in the outdoor infrared sauna or awakening your senses with a bracing dip in the cold plunge pool in the morning.

Couples can also enjoy the tree swings nestled within the garden, adding a playful way to enjoy the natural surroundings.

A gentle walk from the Crofters Suite brings you to the heart of Mingarry Park House, where the bar and restaurant serve elegant Scottish dishes, and the Garden Lounge Pods wait in the garden, a serene spot to sip a nightcap and admire the mountain views.

Glenfinnan Viaduct creates a moment of wonder as the steam train curves across its soaring arches, filling the glen with a soft plume that drifts into the Highland air.

Walking the nearby path lets you admire the surrounding mountains as they wrap around the landscape in gentle folds.

A peaceful stroll towards Loch Shiel completes the experience, where the still water mirrors the sky and gives couples a quiet place to pause together.

Castle Tioram sits proudly on its tidal island, its weathered stone walls surrounded by shifting sands and the changing rhythm of the tide.

Exploring the shoreline around the castle reveals sheltered pockets of beach where the water laps quietly against the rocks.

Standing at the base of the ruin offers a sense of timelessness, with views across the loch that feel remote, romantic and deeply atmospheric.

The Glenfinnan Monument invites you into a place of reflection, where the tower rises at the edge of Loch Shiel in a setting rich with Scottish history.

Climbing to the viewpoint grants sweeping scenes across the glen, the water stretching peacefully towards distant ridgelines.

Time spent at the monument’s base brings a gentle calm, with reeds rustling by the water and the surrounding hills glowing softly in the shifting light.

Book your stay at Crofters Suite and let each day begin with tranquillity, end with indulgence and unfold in the heart of the Highlands.
