  • "The house was filthy on arrival even after the 'cleaners' had finished."

    There was food all over the floor, in the sink and on the surfaces. Bathrooms had toothpaste still smeared on the mirrors and the carpets were not hoovered. On complaint the team came back and re cleaned and acknowledged the low standards without grumble but it meant the beginning of the holiday was a bit stressful and ickey. Speaking to our neighbours they had the same experience- but they spent two hours cleaning on arrival themselves. Real shame as the property and grounds were brilliant. The house is going to get so run down and disgusting if the property managers don't keep on top of their cleaning and cycle of deep cleans.

  • "Had a lovely holiday at this property."

    It was just as advertised, clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed sitting out on the decking for our breakfast each morning. Location is great, 20minutes to Yarmouth on foot with plenty of places to eat out, lots of lovely walks and within 30minutes drive of most of the key Isle of Wight attractions. Also able to get a Tesco food delivery arranged so didn’t even have to bring the food. Would definitely stay here again.

  • "The property was immaculately clean and well equipped."

    We would highly recommend to anyone. The only suggestion we had was that a small library of books would be helpful for those very wet days / damp evenings!! We left two books on the table to start the collection. The board games were very useful.

Nestled on the picturesque West Bay Club, on the outskirts of the town of Yarmouth, is this delightful, three-bedroom property, Whitfield P7.

Presented to an excellent standard throughout, Whitfield P7 welcomes families for an exceptional stay on the Isle of Wight.

After a day on the beach, wash away the sand in the bathroom before heading to the open-plan living space.

Take over the kitchen as you prepare a delightful meal, equipped with all the essentials for a short break, before gathering at the dining table and tucking into the fruits of your labour.

Take a seat on the sofa and catch up on the TV, before heading outside and relaxing on the decking.

Just a 5-minute drive away is West Wight Sports and Community Centre, where there are many activities on offer for children and families, including a swimming pool, climbing wall, and various sports classes, the perfect spot for a rainy day.

YARMOUTH

Newport 12 miles; Ryde 18 miles.

The attractive seaside town of Yarmouth is the oldest town on the Isle of Wight, and its busy harbour is a haven for all kinds of watercraft, with the terminal used for regular mainland ferry crossings to Lymington. Yarmouth’s narrow streets are home to an attractive array of shops and inns, whilst a visit to Henry VIII’s castle is not to be missed. There's great cycling (and a cycle hire shop) and walking to be had along the coastal path. Why not take an energetic stroll at the nearby Tennyson Down and Headon Warren. Sandhard beach is 15 minutes' walk away, with Colwell Bay with its sandy beach and amenities for the family 7 minutes away by car. Yarmouth's pier and sailing club jetty is another good spot for crabbing. Four miles away is Compton Bay, famous for dinosaur remains; head there at low tide and see if you can find the two enormous three-toed feet. West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Yarmouth is an ideal base from which to explore this wonderful island.
