  • "What a lovely property."

    So comfortable, clean and catered to our every need. The beds were super comfortable & really lovely bedding. Susie was a super host.. left so many amazing treats for us, what a lovely welcome… she let us know she was there if we needed her, we didn’t! Susie had thought of everything

  • "A lovely stay!"

    Very nice clean house with good sized rooms. Very helpful that teabags, pint of milk, etc were left for us which makes settling in easier. Our kids enjoyed looking at all of the nautical stuff, plus the home-made marmalade/jam which they devoured. Nice location close to harbour. Two bathrooms/toilets which make it easier when getting ready in mornings. Owners easily contactable. We'd love to come back sometime. Many thanks Susie!

    Seapie Corner is a charming cottage, lovingly renovated with lots of nice touches, and generously provisioned. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and welcoming, and the beds are very comfortable. The house is close to the shore and the centre of Yarmouth, with pubs, restaurants and boutique shops close at hand. Highly recommended.

  • "Just perfect."

    Minutes from the ferry. Exactly as described in listing but somehow better - inspired upside down layout so all living area on 1st floor with double height ceiling. Well stocked kitchen (I’ll leave what there is as a surprise). Very thoughtful landlady Susie who was available throughout. Though we had zero issues. Will be planning a return visit.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Seapie Cottage ."

    It was everything we had hoped for . Cottage was spotlessly clean and Susie the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming . Location was absolutely perfect for us . 2 mins from the ferry terminal . Yarmouth was the perfect place for us to stay . We like to walk to the pub of an evening of which there were a few . We really hope to return one day and if so would definitely stay at Seapie Cottage .

  • "This was the best one we’ve ever had on the Isle of Wight."

    The layout of the cottage was perfect. Very convenient location near facilities such as pubs , shops & ample choice of these . Convenient parking space laid on by host , locally. Host was friendly ( she left plenty of extras for our stay ) was a pleasure to meet her on our last day… Facilities in the property was great, lovely bath & shower, an extra WC & two double bedrooms on the ground floor. Ample space throughout- although no garden, the balcony area was sufficient enough. Interesting layout on the upper floors with mezzanine area and extra beds. Everything works, and could wish for nothing more.

  • "Excellent option in Yarmouth, conveniently situated in the centre of town for shops and restaurants (and pubs)."

    The thoughtful extras left by Susie ensured our stay was memorable. The accommodation is extremely comfortable. Two bedrooms (with super comfy mattresses) a bathroom (with bath) and second toilet on the ground floor, the lounge and kitchen on the first floor and a further bedroom and mezzanine relaxation area on the top floor. There is also a small outside area on the balcony off of the lounge. Everything was supplied - bedding, towels as well as local info and a very well equipped kitchen including basic necessities and a few unexpected luxuries. Would definitely recommend and will re-book next time we’re in Yarmouth.

  • "This is an excellent property."

    Clean and very well equipped. Inverted property with living room on first floor and an outdoor balcony seating area, a smaller single room on the second floor (plus sofa bed if needed) and two double rooms on the ground floor. Shower has good pressure. Everything you need including washing machine, dish washer and well stocked kitchen. Susie (the owner) allows parking on her drive just 100 yds away. She was responsive to queries and we had a lovely time chatting to her. She was kind enough to leave us some home baked treats on arrival and to my delight I even came home with a gifted jar of her homemade marmalade! 2 minute walk into Yarmouth. Lovely property. Best we’ve stayed in. Highly recommended.

  • "Seapie cottage was probably the best cottage we have rented through Sykes cottages, and we’ve rented a few and they’ve all been good."

    The cottage was lovely, and exceptionally well equipped, but the extras that Susie put in made it really special. It has an upside down layout which is different but very nice, the outside area was great to sit in in the evening. The location is perfect just a couple of minutes walk and you’re in Yarmouth town with great pubs and restaurants, We particularly liked the Terrace restaurant. I think if you came using the Lymington ferry the location couldn’t be better. The surrounding area is really lovely with great walks along the coast. The IOW bus service is excellent so you don’t really need a car, though there is off road parking, which if you do have a car is great. We would definitely stay here again and Susie was the perfect host.

  • "Beautiful little property right in the centre of Yarmouth and close to cafes and restaurants."

Newport 12 miles; Ryde 18 miles.

The attractive seaside town of Yarmouth is the oldest town on the Isle of Wight, and its busy harbour is a haven for all kinds of watercraft, with the terminal used for regular mainland ferry crossings to Lymington. Yarmouth’s narrow streets are home to an attractive array of shops and inns, whilst a visit to Henry VIII’s castle is not to be missed. There's great cycling (and a cycle hire shop) and walking to be had along the coastal path. Why not take an energetic stroll at the nearby Tennyson Down and Headon Warren. Sandhard beach is 15 minutes' walk away, with Colwell Bay with its sandy beach and amenities for the family 7 minutes away by car. Yarmouth's pier and sailing club jetty is another good spot for crabbing. Four miles away is Compton Bay, famous for dinosaur remains; head there at low tide and see if you can find the two enormous three-toed feet. West Wight is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Yarmouth is an ideal base from which to explore this wonderful island.
