  • Mr Kent

“Me and my family had a lovely long weekend in Herne Bay visiting family, it is the 2nd time we have stayed at Holly Tree Cottage, we had everything we needed and the wood burner was the highlight as it was lovely to chill in the evenings with the log burner roaring away, house is close to a local Tesco Express and a short walk to the beach.”

We will definitely like to stay again soon.

The property

This cottage is located in a grass-lined residential area of Herne Bay, in easy distance of local amenities, with historical monuments and a shingle beach bringing the village to life.

Perfectly designed for families, 30 Leighville Drive is a home away from home, somewhere unique to spend some quality time after a day of sightseeing and so much more.

From the hallway wander into the lounge which houses seating for six people, and a log burner for those cosy winter nights.

The beautiful kitchen/diner comes presented in a contemporary fashion with a table excellently placed for views of the garden, and increased warmth from a second woodburning stove.

On the ground floor you will also discover a cloakroom with WC, and a utility area with extra appliances helpful for washing the dog, or cleaning outdoor equipment once you have returned from an adventure.

The upper level promotes a peaceful night's sleep, the rooms almost mirror each other in style, yet provide varying options to suit the whole family.

From the master suite to a pretty single bed, there is a place for everyone, and even a trundle bed ideal for a little one.

Soft furnishings and a neutral overtone tie the layout together wholeheartedly, with a luxury bathroom to finish 30 Leighville Drive including both a bath and shower.

The enclosed garden is awaiting a visit with its decked area and furniture, your chance to unwind under the summer sun with a refreshing drink to sip.

In this English seaside town, there are many eateries serving everything from traditional fish and chips to exotic delicacies.

and of course, no seaside town is complete without an ice cream parlour and Herne Bay has two.

The historic city of Canterbury is only seven miles away, with its famous cathedral and historic past, offering theatres, museums and art galleries as well as shops, restaurants, and trips along the river.

For a day of cobbled streets and browsing around quaint little shops, then leave for Whitstable, all adding to a fabulous stay at 30 Leighville Drive.
