Twice we have stayed and in both occasions the second bedroom was left as a double bed despite being requested to be two singles. I even called a few days in advance to ask on this second visit that this be remembered and resolved. Yet on arrival, still it was a double. I called Lakelovers and a lovely house keeping lady came and sorted it, but bless her she shouldn’t have to do that. Plus I was lucky, I got there on a Friday at 4:20pm, if I had been after 5pm what chance would I have had? Love the property, We will be back, just not impressed with Lakelovers since they sold out to Sykes. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review further to your recent stay with us at Larna Place, although I was really disappointed to read your comments regarding the beds being incorrectly configured for you on both occasions you have been. The beds are extremely comfortable and better than those in some hotels we have stayed in recently. We were a little concerned about the potential traffic noise as it is on the main road, but this wasn't a problem at all. The only small negative for us is that the sofas were very low, but this is just personal preference due to our above average heights and age, and I am sure they are fine for most people. Eleven nights was not enough and we could have happily stayed for longer. Very happy overall and are likely to book again in warmer weather as we want to sit outside on the lovely terrace. Ideally situated on the outskirts of the town, close enough to walk to for evening meals and provisions. Fantastic walks literally from the doorstep (we used the car once to go to Keswick!)
