    The lodge is very comfortable and clean. The views are lovely and it isn't too far from the nearby villages. Most important the fishing is good and more importantly the dogs love it !! Many thanks

  • "Holly Lodge was a lovely comfortable place to stay."

    It was so peaceful and set in beautiful countryside. The fishing lakes were a bonus. All in all we had a fab week and can't wait to return.

  • "We've stayed in all 3 Lodges now over the last 4 years and whether it be fishing or as a base with my wife for visiting the surrounding area it's always been a very enjoyable time."

    The lodges are all very similarly furnished and comfortable. The fishing is is so good I even took up membership last year, very peaceful surroundings to catch fish. Would recommend to anyone.

About the location

GOOSNARGH

Preston 6.4 miles; Morecambe 28.7 miles.

Goosnargh is a village and civil parish in the City of Preston district of Lancashire, England. The village lies between Broughton and Longridge, and mostly rests in the civil parish of Whittingham, although the ancient centre lies in the civil parish of Goosnargh. The Anglican parish church of St Mary is situated on Church Lane. Trinity Methodist Church, originally dating from the early 1880s, lies on Whittingham Lane. The village holds an annual festival on the first Saturday after the Spring Bank Holiday Monday during which there is a procession through the village. The procession includes decorated floats, fancy dress, maypole dancing and marching bands. Further afield, Preston offers bustling indoor and outdoor markets, fresh Lancashire produce, and a variety of boutique and independent shops, many with a long, proud history of their own.
