The property

Ideal for couples, this beautifully finished, converted farmhouse is nestled near the quaint villages of Tatham and Wray, near the town of Lancaster, Lancashire.

This cottage is perfectly located for lovely walks and strolls on one of the many footpaths conveniently located on the doorstep, and is a great blend of traditional and contemporary, decorated to an excellent standard and includes underfloor heating.

Entering into the property, you will find a cosy, well appointed kitchen and dining area to the left, featuring fresh white kitchen units with an electric oven, halogen hobs,a fridge with a freezer compartment, and stylish dining seating for two.

The sitting room is decorated to an excellent standard, complete with an armchair and a two-seater sofa to sink into, a coffee table and a TV which includes amazon fire stick for streaming for all your evening entertainment during a cosy night in.

Climbing up the stairs to the first floor is a king-size bedroom, fit for a good night's rest, with cosy wooden-style furnishings including bedside tables, a wardrobe, a dressing table and chairs, as well as fabulous garden and open-field views to wake up to.

Completing this delightful property is a bright, first-floor en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, hand basin, WC, heated towel rail and a pretty shared patio with beautiful landscaped gardens and extensive rural countryside views.

For nature lovers, local attractions in close proximity to Tattam include the scenic Ingleton Waterfall Trail, the Fell End Nature Reserve, where you can immerse yourself in the outstanding scenery and wildlife of the Arnside and Silverdale area, plus the Forest of Bowland, ideal for walking and cycling and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The charming country parish of Tatham lies on the northern fringe of the Forest of Bowland, close to the small village of Wray, with its tea room, garden centre, pub and renowned Scarecrow Festival at the end of April. Also close by is the traditional Yorkshire market town of High Bentham and its highest point, The Great Stone of Fourstones. A relic of the Ice Age, the stone stands on the boundary where Lancashire meets Yorkshire and has become a distinctive feature of the landscape, boasting spectacular views over the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland. The Yorkshire Dales National Park and the famous three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-Ghent lie just to the north, while The Forest of Bowland, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stretches away to the south and offers a wide range of unspoilt landscapes and visitor facilities.
