"An extremely well situated and homely cottage in the beautifully tranquil hamlet of Grange."
All of the directions and instructions were easy to follow and accurate, and Jenny was an excellent and attentive host, resolving a minor maintenance issue promptly and with real care and consideration. Easy to access even if you’re travelling by public transport, the bus to and from Keswick is a very short stroll away. We had a wonderful, warm and cosy stay, and would recommend highly.
Thank you for your comments… I’m so pleased that you enjoyed your stay.

"This was the most well equipped place I have ever stayed at."
Everything you could possibly want is catered for. The only suggestion would be for another light in the lounge but we took one of the bedside lights downstairs and that was ok.

"Can't fault this cottage."
It was very clean, cosy and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The location was quiet and very picturesque. It's ideal for touring the lakes. We really enjoyed our stay.
I highly recommend the cafe next door that sells delicious homemade scones.
Thank you for your kind words. I’m so glad you enjoyed your visit.

"Lovely comfortable cottage - just the slight blip of trying to contact Sykes out of hours owing to the loss of lighting downstairs; but there had been a very recent changeover of maintenance responsibilities from Sykes to the cleaning contractor company and the out of hours emergency system had warranted change that hadn't quite materialised by then, but was soon corrected (with many apologies) the following day."
As dedicated walkers, we were equipped with head torches so were able to manage admirably! Sod's Law, I think! It certainly didn't detract from the stay, and the village is lovely. Cafe next door thoroughly recommended too!

"The cottage is in a very scenic location with many walks from the door."
It is clean and well maintained and the kitchen is well equipped. Although it sleeps five people the living area is only just large enough for five people to sit comfortably. The cottage was warm and bathroom and shower facilities were clean and modern. The only issue we had was that there is only parking for one car and parking elsewhere in the village can be difficult at busy times.
Thank you for your positive feedback. It is usually possible to find a second parking space nearby.

"Lovely cottage and location."
Very clean and comfortable. We had a great time in spite of heavy rain on one day. The cafe close by was excellent.
Only item lacking was a tea strainer. Some people still drink real tea!
Many thanks to the owner.
Thank you! I’ll drop in a tea strainer later this week. I’ll also let the cafe know that you were impressed with their offer. Good to hear that you enjoyed your break, despite the weather!

"We love the cottage."
We love the care that has been taken to make the holidaymakers' stay as pleasant as possible. The quality of all the cutlery, crockery and cookware. The amount of kitchen items means that all contingencies are catered for. There was only one item that I could not locate, and that did not matter since we had brought our own, and that was a lemon crusher! The house is pleasant throughout, with sun filled seating and eating areas outside. We will definitely be coming back.
Thankyou for your feedback… lemon crusher ordered ready for your next visit! I’m so glad that you enjoyed your stay!
