  • "Comfortable furnishings and nicely decorated throughout, well stocked kitchen and homely atmosphere."

Excellent games set, books and leaflets of local area attractions. Peaceful quiet site with a small bar and grab and go shop at the entrance. The wrap around decking and garden is secure for pets with ample outdoor seating. Everything inside the lodge is well kept. Secluded location yet short drive to carnforth and m6. The New England tea room is a 15 minute walk serving lunch and refreshments. Swimming pools nearby although days/times are limited. Capernwray hall is a short walk down the road while capernwray diving centre is close by. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was friendly and contactable by email.
