  • "Fabulous cottage, lovely village and spectacular scenery."

We had a superb week at Old Bridge Inn, Ingleton. We (4 adults and a dog) could easily have enjoyed another week as there is so much to see and do in the area. The cottage was home from home with everything (and more) that we needed. After a busy day we could walk less than 5 minutes to The Masons pub for an evening meal, delicious. There are good facilities in the village including a heated outdoor pool but unfortunately we were too early in the season and it had not opened. Our week at Old Bridge Inn was 'just what the doctor ordered'. Many thanks to the owners for thinking of everything. Irene from Devon

  • "A very comfortable home from home, everything you need for a relaxing break."

An ideal base to explore the wonderful countryside. So relaxing to have the fire going, after a walk to a couple of welcoming pubs, where the locals are so friendly.

  • "The cleanest, best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in!"

If you're planning a winter trip it is also the warmest, super central heating! Foodies will love it, you will have everything you need, even a wine cooler! The A 65 means you can easily reach all the charming towns like Settle and Kirby Lonsdale and only forty minutes to Kendal and the Lakes. Ingleton itself is small and pretty but you will find a local Coop for all your needs. The nearest pub, the Masons is a couple of minutes walk from the accommodation, by the time you read this it will have re-opened after refurbishment, there are also two more pubs in the village but haven't tried them, after all we had our wine chiller and Netflix and Amazon, Bliss. Thank you Chris for checking if we were OK, we were. The Old Bridge Inn was just perfect!

Thank you so much for your kind words. Makes all the effort worthwhile. Property Owner

We like the multiple choices of activities available for all age groups. It’s deceivingly spacious and enclosed back yard which gives extra safety for those who bring their furry friend.

In the house there is is a wealth of books and games for all ages and a box of children’s toys. A very well equipped kitchen, comfy living room and three lovely bedrooms made our stay a good one. The cottage is in an ideal area for walking holidays as there is easy access to The Dales and to the Lake District.

It was well situated to explore Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cumbria. There was one parking space with plenty of space on the nearby road for extra cars. The village of Ingleton is very pretty with a co-op, post office, fish and chip shop, tourist information, etc.

It was clean and tidy on arrival and a home from home experience. The owners have really thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as it could be. It is a good base for anyone wanting to do the Yorkshire three peaks and visiting Ingleton Waterfalls is a must. We would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to book again ourselves if we were to return to the area.

  • "The cottage was lovely, well equipped, really was home from home, a bottle of wine & milk when we arrived was a lovely gesture, the cottage is perfectly positioned, the small patio is a lovely suntrap and being fenced in allowed us to sit out with our dog without worrying he would pop into the neighbors gardens!"

The village has everything you need, ample pubs, the food in the Three Horseshoe was fantastic, the Old Post Office micropub is a lovely quirky pub, the owners have done an amazing job, the people are friendly and welcoming, the Ingleton falls are a must, although the costs needs to be reviewed, £8 per adult is excessive. We have enjoyed a week relaxing, taking in the stunning views on our walks, we will definitely be back again.
