From here, you will find a welcoming sitting room, boasting a homely neutral palette, with a feature woodburning stove and inviting leather couch with matching armchair to relax onto as you enjoy your favourite Netflix shows on the wall-mounted Smart TV.

There is a set of patio doors that open up onto the sun trap patio garden, where you can enjoy a morning coffee or alfresco lunch in this secure, enclosed space, which can also be accessed via a second patio door in the stylish kitchen/diner, with integrated appliances, neatly tucked behind lovely wooden cabinets, and a large fridge/freezer, providing plenty of space to cook up delicious homecooked meals that can be enjoyed together at the dining table.

Upstairs there are two immaculate bedrooms for catching up on rest; a king-size double and a twin with zip/link feature, which can cater to a variety of groups, both of which boast Smart TVs, pretty village views and shared use of the new family bathroom suite, boasting a superb high-quality finish with stunning freestanding bath and a large walk-in shower, giving you the choice of how to prepare for each day.

Venture into the centre of Lowick Green to find a 14th century pub within walking distance, renowned for its fine local ales, while riverside walks can be enjoyed beside the River Crake, taking in the picturesque open countryside views.

The area boasts superb views of Coniston Old Man, which offers fantastic walking, mountain biking and climbing opportunities.

Just a few miles from the southern tip of Windermere lake, as well as Coniston Water, the location of the children's classic 'Swallow and Amazons', where you can enjoy a steam boat ride on a gondola, cruising past Brantwood, the former home of John Ruskin, as well as trying your hand at a range of watersports.

Embark on woodland trails through nearby Grizedale Forest, with a number of excellent cycle trails for keen cyclists and a treetop zip wire course at Go Ape for those feeling adventurous, while nearby Ulverston hosts an excellent market, as well as an array of traditional pubs and great restaurants and wonderful attractions like the Laurel and Hardy Museum.

If you want to enjoy a day at the beach, there are several to choose from within a 25-minute drive, including the Furness Coast, with its golden beaches and birdwatching opportunities, perfect for wildlife lovers.

To the north of Coniston Water lies the village of Hawkeshead, the former home of William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter, with attractions dedicated to both, including the Grammar School the poet attended and the Beatrix Potter Gallery, which displays an exhibition of her original illustrations, while the National Trust's Hill Top, the former farmhouse of the author, is just a short drive away.
