The property

Crag End Cottage is a very special upside-down cottage resting up a private driveway in the picturesque village of Cartmel, Cumbria.

Home to a quaint patio area, and footpaths from the doorstep leading over the fellside, and down to the village, this delightful dwelling is ideal for a solo traveller or couple looking to explore the beautiful Lake District.

It's situated within easy reach of the village but offers a lovely quiet location.

Arriving at the cottage, off-road parking greets you before stepping into the hall and making your way up to the first floor.

Hosting a living/dining room with an electric stove, enjoy snuggling up with your loved one to watch some TV after an adventurous day out, during the Winter period Cartmel Priory can be clearly seen from the window.

From here, take advantage of the kitchen, which hosts an electric oven and hob so you can whip up delicious meals to enjoy at the dining table, and a handy dishwasher to make cleaning up a breeze.

As the evening draws to a close, make your way back downstairs to rest your head in the plush king-size.

When you wake, utilise the en-suite shower room and prepare for another day of discovering your surroundings.

In the warmer months, make yourself a coffee using the coffee machine, and savour it out in the garden in the crisp morning air.

Nearby, be sure to visit the famous Cartmel Village Shop to pick up some sticky toffee and quirky souvenirs for your friends, or pop to one of the many local village pubs for some tasty pub grub in a friendly setting.

Horse racing enthusiasts will enjoy a day at Cartmel Racecourse, this property boasts a perfect position to enjoy the races, offering perfect access with being only a short walk away, you can enjoy a drink and all the races has to offer whilst leaving your car safely at the property.

For history buffs and architecture lovers, the magnificent Cartmel Priory towers over the village.

Spend a day in the lovely coastal town of Grange over Sands; the town is home to the picture-perfect Grange Promenade, perfect for enjoying some fish and chips or an ice cream in the fresh sea air.

Avid golfers can tee off one afternoon at Grange over Sands Golf Club while enjoying the vast views and luscious greenery.

Why not stick your walking boots on and venture further into the Lake District National Park for an abundance of walking and cycling opportunities.
