  • "A lovely apartment with beautiful far reaching views."

    It's in a great location, right in Garstang, being close to shops and buses as well as walks along the river and canal. We ended up not using our car all week. It's one we would recommend and go back to. Minor suggestions for improvement would be to supply some salt and pepper and also a clothes airer which would be useful for drying the towels.

  • "Lovely view, very well equipped but the only thing we could not find was a pizza cutter."

    Could not get very comfy on the sofa but that could be down to old age. On our list to return soon. Garstang is a lovely rural place which is full of rustic charm.

  • "I had such a lovely stay at River View over Christmas."

    Didn't want to leave. Such a lovely flat with the most gorgeous views of the hills from all windows. The really good sized balcony will be perfect to sit out on and appreciate the views when it’s warmer. The location was great too with everything that the pretty town of Garstang has to offer on your doorstep.

  • "A wonderful week spent at the appartment."

    Lovely views very peaceful and perfectly positioned for walks and eating out. Really enjoyed everything about garstand and the friendliness of everyone we met. Two little suggestions- some coat hooks in the utility room might be a good idea and although the tea/coffee mugs were lovely they were very large and heavy ( especially for arthritic hands)

  • "Pleasurable stay,gorgeous views,beautiful new apartment."

    We went home recharged.nice & quiet we got a good nights sleep. Could do with wooden spoons & may be some Pyrex bowls,as we used the apartment while we were having work done & not a holiday.

Garstang is a small town within the Wyre Borough of Lancashire, famous for declaring itself the world's first Fairtrade town. Known locally for its tasty home-grown produce, this small town offers a warm welcome and a wealth of specialist and individual shops where you can pick up a number of treats; don't miss the local cheesemongers for a wedge of fine Lancashire cheese! The street market is held every Thursday, another exciting shopping treat. Running right through the centre of the town is the peaceful Lancaster Canal, where you can watch the passing canal boats cruise by and enjoy the abundance of wildlife it supports.
