"We had a wonderful holiday in this cute cottage that was full of charm."
The directions we were sent were very helpful (and essential) and the guides to the local area in the house allowed us to make the most of our stay. We loved Sedbergh and walked in and out most days. There are loads of great walks nearby and further afield too. We’ll definitely be back!

"A comfortable, compact property which is ideal for one or two people."
The location is lovely - lots of walking from the door, and the sound of the river outside masks any noise from the roads. The owners were very helpful with detailed instructions about parking (easy enough with a small car) and a welcome supply of brownies, milk and bread on arrival. A couple of small niggles - the kitchen door doesn't shut properly, for example - but nothing to spoil the stay. Hope to be back one day.

"We enjoyed our stay over the Christmas week."
The cottage was cosy with a wood burning stove and well equipped. The bedrooms were very spacious and the beds comfortable. The hosts were easy to communicate with and responded quickly when we had a query. We imagine staying there in the summer would be really special as the location is unique with many lovely views, walks and nearby places to visit. Farfield Mill was amazing. Although parking is tight the neighbours were really helpful.

"Lovely quiet location."
Characterful and comfortable cottage. Farfield Mill art centre is so nearby and a delight. Road access very narrow with high hedges and only 1 passing place - would be a real challenge to reverse down it. We parked at Farfield Mill for most of the week.

Couldn't recommend it more highly. Really comfortable place and well-looked after. We were made to feel incredibly welcome. The views from the cottage and its garden are breathtaking with the full panorama of the fells in front of you. It's also in the perfect place for all sorts of walks from the front door. Thank you so much for a brilliant holiday.

Sedburgh is a lovely area & we used it as a base for undertaking the northern end of The Dales Way.
Parking is quite a challenge especially if you are not confident about turning & manoeuvring in tight situations.

"Listing this with 4 stars was a misrepresentation."
The property is dated. In need of some TLC . Its the 21st century. Facilities need to be better. No freezer. All prepared food needed to be wasted. Leaking tap in bathroom unacceptable with water shortages. Curtains in living room hanging off pole. Need to resolve rubbish removal.

This was the first time we have stayed in a cottage and we absolutely loved it! The cottage was so beautiful with walks around it and we even made it up to the top of Winder! The leaflets were really helpful for days out and there were some lovely finishing touches such as flowers and bits on arrival, the soft furnishings made the cottage extra special! "Lovely cosy private cottage in a beautiful location."
Really peaceful and fabulous local scenery and walks in the dales, and easy reach to local pretty villages, shops, Farfield Mill arts & crafts and cafe literally on the doorstep, and not far to The Lakes for day trips. Very well equipped kitchen and all facilities. Lounge with big sofas and log burner, good TV and wifi - really roomy yet cosy. Very comfy beds (had such good sleeps) with pretty fresh linen, and great shower/ bath. Everything so clean and to a really great standard.
Thank you to owners, Amy and Joe, for the warm welcome, great info about the cottage and surroundings and the lovely welcome pack of goodies and fresh flowers too.
We love the decor, which is fresh, practical but oh so cute and cleverly furnished. Modern luxuries blended with cottage quirkiness. Such an inviting feel.
We have two big dogs and had plenty of room for all of us; plus there’s a cute little enclosed garden which is perfect for sitting out and gazing over to the magical fells. This really is a special find. We would love to stay again.

"We loved this cottage."
The photos didn’t do it justice. There was a lovely little hamper (bread, muesli, conserve, biscuits and milk in the fridge) which got us off to a good start. The views were so nice to wake up to even though the weather wasn’t brilliant. Amy called to introduce herself and to let us know we could get in touch if there were any problems - she needn’t have bothered, everything was spot on.
I’m sure we’ll be back.
