All amenities were there and the welcome pack was really good and appreciated. Only thing I would say , the front door lock was very temperamental and would'nt always work so used the back door quite a lot. I would certainly recommend this cottage.

Thank you for your lovely words and great scores for Corner Cottage. We are delighted to hear you liked our cottage and would recommend us. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and telling us about the temperamental door lock. We are sorry for any inconvenience this caused. A new lock has been fitted so this is now rectified. Property Owner

It was very clean and well equipped, and had all we needed for a great holiday. Ingleton had more shops, cafes and places to eat than we had expected, with the bakery a particular favourite. It's situated in some lovely countryside, and we enjoyed our walks and bike rides. Unlike a previous reviewer, we heard no noise from the club next door. Thanks for a great holiday!

Thank you for your lovely review and great score. We are delighted you enjoyed our local eateries and shops, we are very lucky having them all on our doorstep and Seasons bakery is also one of our favourites. Very pleased you didn’t experience a disturbance from the club. The previous guest was the first to report any noise, we have never heard a peep whenever we have stayed. Property Owner

The owner had thought of everything- we loved the welcome hamper! Ingleton was a great location with lots of great food outlets. The OPO bar, the fish and chip shop, the pizzeria, new waffles place, the Craven Heifer and Seasons Bakery were all top notch. The outdoor pool was a hidden gem too! Great walks from the cottage and surrounding area. We would highly recommend it.

  • "The cottage is wonderful and as described."

It was extremely clean and it really does have everything you could want or need, eveb including dishwasher and washing machine pods. Extremely well maintained and furnished with good quality and tasteful decor and soft furnishings. Our only suggestion, and not a criticism, would be a couple of chairs in the garden area for lovely weather like we have had. The bench is fine for eating at but not particularly comfortable. Ingleton is lovely and the cottage is in a superb location, close to everything. Parking can be a bit hit and miss but usually managed to get a spot.

Thankyou for your great scores and lovely feedback. Very pleased you liked our Cottage. You had fabulous weather - please come back and visit and bring the sun with you again . Property Owner

  • "So much planning goes into choosing our holiday cottage and the accuracy of this listing and its pictures and description made it so much easier."

This cottage is exactly as described. Beautifully clean, homely and a great place to relax and access beautiful locations in the dales. The enclosed garden was a sun trap (yes, we had some in between the showers) and perfect for the dog to relax too. We normally book places with allocated parking but again, the description was so accurate and we had no trouble parking on the roadside nearby. The additional covid- safe procedures were clear and reassuring to keep us and the next guests safe.

Thank you for your great feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate the amazing job our change over team do. Property Owner

  • "Fabulous cottage, fabulous location!"

WOW! What a wonderful arrival to Corner Cottage..from the moment we got to the front door, to stepping inside, to exploring the interior, we were blown away..what a fabulous place! It felt like a tardis as we went from room to room, the photographs on the Sykes website do not show just how spacious the cottage is, or how ‘luxurious’ the furnishings feel. The cottage is extremely clean, cosy, and comfortable. The renovations that the owners have done are of a very high standard, and very tasteful. We loved the bathroom...the shower was amazing! Communication from the owner was very good and helpful, and we appreciated the little personal touches we were greeted with..a wonderful ‘hamper’ for us and the dog! The cottage was very easy to locate, was in a perfect spot in the village, very quiet, parking was very easy, has a lovely little enclosed back yard, and just round the corner is an incredible bakery! What a gem!

Wow! Thanks for your fabulous feedback- we really appreciate it! I Iove when guests appreciate our local shops - we agree they bakery is amazing. Property Owner

I knew dogs were allowed in the cottage so cannot really complain, but we were aware of the smell of dogs downstairs. Very impressed with the precautions taken with regard to coronavirus. Two of every piece of crockery and cutlery had been in the dishwasher at 60 degrees so we felt safe using them. Very comfy bed, lovely thick white towels in the bathroom. Very modern kitchen and bathroom fittings.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back.Thank you for your feedback we really appreciate that you took time to leave it. We have taken your comments on board and have located the area in question. To avoid this situation for guests in future, we are installing wooden flooring downstairs to further enhance the comfort of Corner Cottage for all our guests, four legged or two, those with or without dogs. Thank you for your lovely feedback about the modern kitchen and bathroom fittings, we are also pleased to advise we have now installed a Smart TV for guests to enjoy. Property Owner

Cleanliness was fantastic our only comment was that the house did smell quite strongly of 'wet dog' which for a no pet family is a little off putting on a comfort level. Wouldn't stop us returning though.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate this as not all guests take the time, and it helps us make improvements for guests, we also very much appreciate you leaving our Cottage spick and span. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate that you found the property generally very clean as we take pride in the cleanliness. We love that dogs can visit and enjoy walks outdoors, but appreciate your comments- so I’m happy to be able to reassure you, as we are replacing the downstairs carpet with hard wood flooring from April 2021. There are steps going into most rooms in this property ie the kitchen, which are no issue for most except we have a newly crawling baby, gates however are provided under the stairs. Super accommodating. And the beds are super soft of comfy! We all jad a lovely time.
