  • "Front Y Felin is the most comfortable & best equipped cottage I've ever stayed in in the many years I've been renting cottages."

It is spacious, the furnishings easy to maintain and the two showers worked perfectly with good power and water flow. It is well placed for exploring the Dales, Trough of Bowland and Lake District. Plenty of space for muddy boots, bikes and other equipment. Easy to clean and great to relax In. We hope to return in the summer for a longer time. Definitely a ***** experience.

Thank you for your positive comments on the property. Glad you enjoyed your stay at Fron Y Felin, hope to see you back next year. Bruce. Property Owner

  • "We stayed here on the August bank holiday weekend."

I have left this review on trip advisor but thought it would be handy to leave on here for anyone looking to book through Sykes :) The house is very well decorated and immaculate. It is only a short drive/walk away from pubs and Ingleton falls. Everything seems brand new and in very good condition. The beds were very comfy and the house was very spacious and boasts two living areas. We spent our evenings in the upstairs living area which felt very homely. There were smart TVs in both living areas and TVs in all the bedrooms. With it being self catering we imagined we would need to bring our own tea towels/hands soaps/bin bags and oven gloves etc but to our surprise the property provided these for us - which was a nice touch. It is well facilitated, and I cannot fault it. The place looks exactly as described. The property hosts a driveway which can fit multiple cars, which was very handy. There is also a CO-OP about a 2 minute walk away which also came in handy. My only recommendation would be a hot tub in the garden, this is just a personal preference, but I feel it would be a great touch to the property and would make good use of the spacious garden.

Thanks for your lovely comments on our family holiday home. Glad you enjoyed your stay at Fron Y Felin. Bruce. Property Owner

  • "We were highly impressed with 'Fron Y Felin'."

The property is very spacious, decorated and finished to a very high standard. The photos do not do this property justice and must be seen to be believed. We had plenty of living space for a family of 4, and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. A larger family would also enjoy their stay without feeling cramped, especially the upstairs lounge area with separate WC. Property is very close to all main amenities including shops, pubs and great restaurants. Parking for 6 cars. An excellent property with all the benefits of home. We would not hesitate to return, and would recommend 'Fron Y Felin' to our friends and family.
