  • "We had a lovely stay at 12 Field View and would highly recommend to anyone."

The property was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The accommodation felt relaxing and cosy, the park itself was quiet and the cows in the next field were a pleasure to watch. We would definitely like to book again. Thank you

  • "Had a lovely stay, very clean upon arrival couldn't fault the place."

We stayed for a week and it had everything we needed. I will say I was happy there was hoover as we did have a dog with us and always like to clean round before we leave. We cooked most nights so cant fault the kitchen it had everything you would need if you wanted to cook. The bed was really comfy and the shower was great. The location worked well for us, only a short drive away to most places we wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend this place to other, the only thing I would say we did have a dog with us so it would of been better if there was a gate on the decking and also not a fault with this place but more the site. In the welcome pack it has like site rules and it did make out not to walk your dog on site and they couldn't go to the toilet on site which is pretty difficult if the dog needed to go but we did notice others did walk there dogs around and there was just signs to say make sure to pick up after the dog, we didnt come across any issues so maybe the paperwork needs updating Thank you for a lovely stay and we would definitely come back again

  • "We have stayed on this camp site before 4 years ago, next plot along actually, so knew it was a very quiet site which suits us."

Due to the main roads it is very easy to get to any place fairly quickly. The caravan itself is very nice, ensuite shower and another bathroom with a bath and a shower, a decent size kitchen with a good size fridge freezer, microwave, oven and grill and living room over looking the field where the cows graze, they come in the field about 7.30 am. The balcony gets the sun very early on and then late afternoon. The caravan is right next to a small play park ideal for young kids. There where a couple of points where things could have been improved but nothing major, there was 3 of us but only 2 outdoor chairs, there was no gate to keep our dog from escaping or toddlers.(we mentioned this to the owner and they said it was on order). The only other things are personal preferences to be fair, the double settee was a bit soft for our liking but we do have old backs, and the tv being high up hurt our necks, but like I said other people might prefer it like that you can't please everyone. I would definitely recommend this caravan as a base to explore the lakes, carlisle, the west coast, even Dumfies and Galloway.

  • "Just had a lovely week at No 12, one of the best caravans we have stayed in - a bathroom each is a luxury!"

A nice quiet site despite the A6 and No 12 is right at the back with a great view over the fields. Fresh flowers on arrival was a welcome surprise. A bit more kitchen equipment would be good but that's a minor issue and totally forgotten when it came to bedtime - the bed in the main bedroom is just amazing - unbelievably comfortable! We never saw any hours of darkness as it was still daylight at bedtime as we pushed the boundaries of when it's acceptable to go to bed. We adopted the Fox and Pheasant at Armathwaite as our local for the week, great food and friendly staff, dog walk along the river or up to the woods if required. Also little takeaway just up the road from the site will deliver fresh pizza. A gorgeous part of the UK, scenery stunning and easy access over the border if you fancy a drive into Scotland (Powfoot on the Solway Firth has a great beach). Thank you for a great stay...x

That's amazing - we do try you were our 1st guests too . We will add some more things to the kitchen . Property Owner
