Such attention to detail with furnishings. Luxury bed linen and towels. The owners have thought of everything to make our stay perfect. Truly is one of the best cottages we have stayed in and we will definitely return. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise and again so thoughtful. Thank you.

  • "Couldn't recommend Jenny's Cottage enough!"

The cottage was exactly as described, superbly clean, very comfortable, with everything we needed in a lovely area! The only tiny thing we found was that we couldn't increase the temperature of the shower which would have been better had it been a little hotter. Certainly didn't detract from the house and how much we like it though! Thrilled to receive welcome treats for us and our dog - a lovely gesture. We will be back!

We have used sykes cottages numerous times and while they have all been to a very good standard, this cottage is the best we have had the pleasure to have stayed in. It is in a very pretty village with shop and pubs less than 5 minutes walk. It is a good base for touring the beautiful South Lakes

  • "Lovely cottage in a beautiful area and lots of fabulous dog walks from right outside the door."

Only thing that could improve it would be to perhaps put some chicken wire on the garden fence as the gap is very wide and we couldn't leave the door open in the hot weather without our dog being able to escape.

It was very comfortable and we could see that a huge amount of effort had been made to prepare the cottage for our visit. It was spotless everywhere and the COVID precautions exceeded our expectations. The extra touches made by the owners - prosecco, biscuits, a variety of teas and coffees - were very welcome. The great location of the cottage made a good base for exploring the beautiful South Lakes and the local pub, The Engine, is handy and very friendly. We would definitely book Jenny's cottage again.
