"It would of been nice to have a washing machine but that is my only quibble."
The property is brilliantly located for amenities whilst still being close enough to access the southern and central lake with little effort. The property it self was impeccably decorated and very well equipped, we felt very much at home. Will definitely be back.
We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. Yes we have plans to create a laundry and drying/wet room. You are completely correct in your observation. Sadly it won’t be this year that the project is able to happen, but do watch this space. We hope to see you again in the future!

"The location is great and only a short distance into busier, tourist areas like Windermere."
The home itself is lovely and the kitchen is a real feature. Also very well equipped! Clean and comfortable.
The only difficulties we had, were that we stayed with young children so the open staircase wasn’t ideal. The TV also didn’t work using the remote either, which made it a challenge with the kids in the evening! I’m not sure if the batteries need replacing?
We also didn’t realise that downstairs was rented out and there was really only a door separating us. It was occupied at the same time and whilst the tenants were nice, noise unfortunately couldn’t be helped!
The view is spectacular and the garden was also lovely.
We are sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your stay at Woodland View. We endeavour to make our family home as welcoming as possible and value all feedback.
The property is indeed unsuitable for small children, this is something we have endeavoured to note in the description and asked the agents to emphasise and include in the property details, we are sorry this is not more clearly stated.
However, we are delighted that you enjoyed other aspects of the stay. The views are stunning and our neighbours make all the difference to making the village so welcoming.
The property is advertised as a shared property. Both The Bothy and Woodland View are with Lakelovers. We are sorry you didn’t realise this.

"So glad we selected Woodland View everything was so thoughtfully provided."
Beautiful decor throughout as well as a top notch kitchen and bathroom. It is also a great location for exploring, we had some good walks including Monk Coniston / Tarn How's circular walk (see national trust walks). We hope to visit again with our daughter, just our son this time. Our dog was totally at home too - thank you for the dog bed and towel!

"We had an amazing stay, thanks."
The place is beautiful, warm and comfy and in a great location. We want to come back in the summer.
Our only slight issue was not being able to have a hot shower. Hot water was great for the bath and sink but never the shower!? Odd.
Sorry, but our daughter had a nosebleed in bed on the penultimate night.
Thank you for your feedback. The shower mixer has now been replaced and all is back in full working order. We hope the shower facilities in The Bothy were a suitable alternative. I hope to see you back at Woodland View over the summer.

Great location for all the lovely places to visit. They have thought of everything and the kitchen and bathroom were my favourite rooms.

The village, the location and the local pub where faultless. So much to see and do, in the knowledge that you could return to the house and enjoy late nights in the garden or just chill in the house and enjoy a well earned rest.
