  • "Could not fault this!"

The lodge itself was clean, very well looked after, warm, cosy and had the comfiest double bed. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook all manner of meals (way beyond the basics you usually get) and there were lovely touches such as games / colouring books to use during our stay. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay great, even offering ideas for places to visit. I would definitely recommend this lodge.

  • "We had a wonderful holiday at Tarn End lodge."

The lodge itself was even better than expected and seemed to have been refurbished since we made our booking. New sofas, a new bathroom and very tastefully decorated throughout. We loved it. The lodge was extremely well equipped with everything you could need. Outside the decking was a great place to sit when the sun briefly came out during our stay, and it seemed to be in a good position to catch the sun when neighbouring lodges didn't. The park itself was also lovely and we enjoyed many strolls around, including through the wooded area and down to the lake. We would definitely like to return to Tarn End lodge and highly recommend it. One small point to note is that we couldn't connect to the park's internet at all, we understood it may be intermittent but it wasn't available at all during our stay. This didn't really matter to us and certainly wouldn't put us off returning.

Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted to hear that the lodge exceeded your expectations and that you would return again. Property Owner

  • "You can tell that the owners of this holiday home care greatly to ensure that guests feel comfortable & have a relaxing stay."

They have thought of everything from super comfortable beds, plenty of spaces to relax either inside or outside to all those little things you don’t know you need until you do! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could ever need from pots & pans to sewing kits. We have absolutely loved our trip & would like to thank the owners for making it such a wonderful stay. The only point to make is from the holiday park; please be aware that you need to purchase a pass to access the swimming pool & that any sessions for the pool need to be booked in advance to ensure you can access this facility.

Thank you for your feedback, we agree with you, the owners take great care of Tarn End Lodge and make sure it is fully equipped with everything you need. We note your comment on the park facilities, this will be passed to the park management. Unfortunately this is something outside of our control and we can only send our apologies for any inconvenience caused. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back. Property Owner
