The property

High Lake View Lodge is all about easy Lake District living, set within the leafy grounds of White Cross Bay Holiday Park and perfectly placed for days shaped by water, woodland and fresh air.

It’s a setting that suits unhurried mornings, outdoor adventures and evenings spent together, making it an excellent choice for families or friends keen to enjoy the rhythm of the Lakes.

The heart of the lodge is a generous open-plan living space designed for shared time.

Comfortable sofas invite you to settle in with a film on the Smart TV, while the electric wall-effect fire adds a gentle warmth on cooler evenings.

Nearby, the dining table naturally becomes the hub for lingering breakfasts, board games and planning the next day’s plans.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catered stays, whether you’re putting together a quick lunch or cooking a relaxed evening meal.

Patio doors draw you outside to the decked veranda, a lovely spot for morning coffee, alfresco dining or watching the light shift through the surrounding trees.

When it’s time to turn in, the lodge offers three well-considered bedrooms.

A king-size room benefits from its own en-suite shower room, while two twin bedrooms, one with smaller beds and one with full-size singles, offer flexibility for children, friends or mixed groups.

A family bathroom serves the remaining rooms, and parking is available close by for added ease.

White Cross Bay brings a holiday atmosphere all of its own.

On-site, you’ll find a restaurant and bar, a well-stocked shop, an indoor swimming pool with spa facilities, an amusement arcade and a children’s activity centre.

The marina and lakeside paths are ideal for gentle walks, while the wider park setting encourages time outdoors without ever feeling rushed.

Beyond the park, Windermere tempts with scenic boat trips, lakeside strolls and the ever-popular World of Beatrix Potter.

Ambleside offers independent shops, cafés and classic walking routes, while the Lake District National Park unfolds in every direction with peaceful tarns, iconic fells and rewarding viewpoints.

High Lake View Lodge is a welcoming base for soaking up the landscapes, atmosphere and simple pleasures that make the Lake District so special.
