  • "Fantastic spacious property, we had a great weekend with friends."

    The property is clean and comfortable. Everything you could need was provided. It’s a nice 20 min walk to the lakeside. The little patio is a sun trap which we were lucky enough to enjoy especially as it was only the of April. Thank you, we had a lovely long weekend.

  • "Really nice and spacious property close to the centre of Windermere."

    When booking we were not aware of the room with the darts or the pool table which was a welcomed surprise when getting to the property. The only thing we couldn’t find was a guest book which usually has wifi passwords or how to leave the house when checking out such as taking all sheets off the beds. Couldn’t fault the property it was beautiful, a really nice find.

    Thank you for the great review. We were so pleased you liked the house. The games room was something we were working on just before the house opened for guests, and we thought it was important, especially if it is rainy. I am so sorry that the guestbook has disappeared. We went to a lot of trouble to include everything you would want to know about the house, where to eat, and walks to do. I will investigate what happened to it. 1 Park Road invites you to stay in a striking Victorian home from 1883, set right in the centre of Windermere within the Lake District National Park.
