The historic market town of Brigg is a small market town in North Lincolnshire and is built on the crossing of the River Ancholme and was granted a charter in 1235. The town hosts two regular markets; a farmers and a street market. A significant number of buildings in the town centre date back to the late 1700s or early 1800s and are listed. The old town has been designated as a Conservation Area. The gently rolling landscape and picturesque villages prove a magnet for cyclists, walkers and wildlife lovers, with the Viking Way many quiet trails and country lanes to explore.
