The property

Orby Cottage is a charming bungalow resting in the village of Chapel St Leonards, in Lincolnshire, near the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape.

This pet-friendly abode is suited for two couples, small families, friends and those with limited mobility, boasting off-road parking and is a short stroll to the beach.

Park the car just outside this blue bungalow, then take the path with neatly potted plants along the way to the nearby entrance.

Upon entering, head to the well-appointed kitchen, store any treats in the fridge/freezer, throw a wash on, and let the chef of the group craft a delicious home-cooked meal.

Once the plates have been dished up, head to the homely living/dining room lit up by a chandelier overhead and dine at the table set for four guests.

After plates are cleared, pick your spot on the sofa or opt for the armchair and flick on the TV to unwind for the evening.

Before bed, freshen up in the wet room before choosing between two welcoming double bedrooms to rejuvenate for the night.

In the morning, enjoy a brew as birdsong fills the air in the front garden, dine alfresco in the afternoon, and toast to the adventures ahead as the stars light up the sky in the evening.

In the morning, admire the golden hues of the sun as it rises at Wolla Bank, the nearest beach just a short stroll away, feel the sand between your feet as you tuck into an ice cream, and build sandcastles with your loved ones.

Get up close and personal with the sea life at Skegness Aquarium, with sting rays and baby sharks, squeeze into your wetsuits and dive with them, packed with informative information, it is worth a visit for a fun-filled day out for families.

A trip to Skegness would not be complete without a walk along the Pier, tucking into some fish and chips and enjoying the amusements here.

If you are seeking breath-taking views and want to admire the wildlife in the area, take a short drive to Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve, explore this nature reserve with your four-legged friend as you stroll along the three-mile stretch of unspoilt dunes, marshes and lagoons, bring a pair of binoculars for a better view of the birds and seals in the water.

Enjoy your coastal escape to Orby Cottage.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.
