When ready to discover the very best that the area has to offer, grab your walking boots and head for the Lincolnshire Wolds – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; or nearby Hubbard’s Hills. You can enjoy a beach day at any time of year on the vast beaches of the Lincolnshire coast – Theddlethorpe or Moggs Eye are good places to start. For something a bit more lively try any of the well-known coastal resorts – Cleethorpes, Sutton-on-Sea and Skegness. A 45 minute drive takes you to Fantasy Island theme park at Ingoldmells, where you can ride thrilling rollercoasters or just enjoy the faces of your family and friends riding them! For something cultural, visit the Louth Museum, or take a look round the impressive medieval parish church with its famous spire.Nature lovers will love local nature reserves at Red Hill, Snipe Dales, and the internationally important Donna Nook and Gibraltar Point reserves. All the family will love exotic menagerie at Woodside Wildlife Park. A visit to Lincoln is a must.
