  • "It was a lovely property in a really peaceful location."

Having 2 dogs with us we went on some nice walks which we found details of within all the useful information provided by the owners. We also had a couple of birthdays during our stay and the owners very kindly loaned us cake baking equipment- thank you. Would recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway.

  • "Lovely cottage stay, it was our first time booking a cottage we really enjoyed the experience and would definitely book again and reccommend."

The cottage was cosy and spacious and very comfortable with nice surroundings, it was fantastic for the dogs who had their run of the garden which was enclosed (the only improvement could be some lighting in the garden for the evening) We had a relaxing time with family and friends in a peaceful setting which was just what we needed, we didn't want to leave! (also an earlier check in or later check out would be nice to get the most of the time there)

  • "We loved the cottage overall and we were impressed with the provision of loo rolls, kitchen roll, washing up liquid etc."

Our only criticism would be the mattress on the king size bed which definitely needs changing and we didn’t find the leather sofas comfortable but the latter may not bother others.

  • "Out of the way from a busy life."

Peaceful and care free. A spa bath would have topped it off nicely. Well equipped cottage and comfy. Perfect location for long walks and bird watching. Local chippy (Baxter’s), closes at 7pm? Might be temporary, who knows? Basically, a really nice place to get away from it all, take your dog/s for long walks and chill

Views were amazing! The cottage was lovely, far bigger than we expected and had absolutely everything you could possibly want, even down to a potty and stair gate! Lovely walks near by or 30 min drive to some lovely beaches. Brilliant place for small families looking to getaway from it all or dog owners. 10/10 from a very happy, relaxed family

To be able to bring our dogs was a bonus. It was so thoughtful to provide milk, tea, coffee and biscuits so once unpacked we could sit and relax with a cuppa and treat.

  • "Very pleased with cottage."

Unfortunately I picked the wettest week on record however we were lovely and warm in the cottage. The flooring was ideal as when we brought our dogs in soaking wet we could dry them off in the sun room. I couldn't believe the size of the house. We seemed to be opening doors to yet another room so if you want chill out time on your own it was no problem. The garden was absolutely perfect, pity due to weather conditions we couldn't get out there but the views were gorgeous. Also garden very safe for dogs, and plenty of room to park the car. Very big bathroom, useful second toilet, good sized bedrooms, lovely completely rural location, but on our walks met and chatted with all the locals. Must do's: walk to the lighthouses and nature reserve, dinner at The Anchor in Sutton Bridge ( we had fantastic carvery on Wed night for £7.50!!), Kings Lynn, Norfolk Lavender Farm and Sandringham Country Park all worth a visit. Would def book this cottage again, oh and by the way they even supply dog bowls. Very doggy friendly.

Just what we wanted. A cosy little cottage away from everything. We had a lovely peaceful week enjoying time as a family. Quick drive to local beaches and plenty of shops nearby if you need more wine!! Carole and Nigel made us very welcome. The fizz in the fridge went down a treat while we made ourselves at home. Nothing was too much trouble. Very safe for our two woofits which was a huge bonus. Will be booking again for next year xx

  • "We love this cottage so much, we've just had our second visit and are already planning our third."

It sits in such a peaceful location, more often than not, all you can hear is the wind and the wildlife. Heaven, for Townies like us. The cottage itself is very well appointed, with all mod cons, and is very much a warm and comfortable home from home. It is now fully fenced with 4ft wooden picket fencing, which means most dogs can access the garden without fear of escape, which for us is a big plus point.

  • "We absolutely loved this cottage and it's location, and will hopefully be using it again."

It's a really comfortable, homely cottage. The only thing I'd have liked to seen on it's listing is a warning about the low fences in the back garden. Yes, the garden was fenced all the way round, but if you had a dog which could jump over 2ft 6", then those hares and deer on the other side might have proved too much of an enticement to safely allow the dogs in the garden.
