• "Kitchen was nice but washing machine waste pipe smelly downstairs toilet seat not fixed properly, inner front door not closing properly, Upstairs bathroom shower dirty and an issue with the door."

  My sister used the back bedroom and the bed rails not fixed properly. Apart from that all was ok. 1 thing may be a good idea to have a folder containing information about rubbish, recycling and just general information about the house. We had a long wait to get the code for the key safe we were given the wrong code and that was not the owners fault it was Sykes never passed it on.

• "We had a nice stay at Broad Green."

  Property was clean. Nice garden although a little overgrown. Nice outside seating area through patio door. The bed was really comfortable. New carpet upstairs. Large upstairs bathroom and a loo downstairs as well. Milk, tea, coffee, biscuits etc was a nice touch. Thank you. The kitchen was very well equipped. Washing machine and dishwasher although we didn't use either. The location was ideal for us. The train station was about a 9-10 minute walk. Bus stop just around the corner. Both ideal for getting into the city centre and further afield. Across the road there's an entrance to the Liverpool Loop line. It's a lovely paved cycle/ walking path . We walked to Sainsbury's from there one day. Then the other direction on another day. Very pleasant. The National Trust properties of Rufford Old Hall and Speke Hall are a short drive away. Plenty of things to do in Liverpool. It might have been useful to have some written instructions from the host ,WiFi code, bins etc and what to do when leaving the property. This is by no means a criticism, to save bothering them. When I contacted the host she came back promptly. Thank you for a nice stay.

• "This two bedroom accommodation is comfortable and was developed quite recently."

  The downstairs living space is at the back of the house and consists of an open plan lounge / kitchen and dining space. The newly fitted kitchen has a new hob and oven and there is plenty of kitchen equipment. A door leads out to the decking and enclosed garden. The hall is bright and airy and there is a downstairs WC. Upstairs is a spacious bathroom with both a bath and a walk in shower. The two spacious bedrooms have comfortable king sized beds. They have blinds rather than curtains which give a bit of a basic feel and it would be helpful to have a chair in the front room. The hall, stairs and landing and both bedrooms are newly carpeted which we liked. At the front of the house is safe off road parking for two cars. The location is ideal for exploring the city ( there’s a bus stop outside) and the nearby motorway gives easy access to the wider area. We very much hope to return.
