  • "Lovely cottage in an ideal location for exploring the area."

If we could change one thing it would be to add a washing machine

Thank you for your feedback. I am not sure why anybody would want to wash and iron on holiday, and not looking to supply such a facility at Yr Hen Beudy. We are glad you enjoyed the area. Property Owner

Owner was very helpful indeed on places to eat and things to see. Had everything we needed. Me and my partner had an amazing 4 nights here. The cottage is surrounded by scenic views of rural wales and the sea .

  • "This is a delightful place to stay, set in beautiful surroundings with a working farm on the door step and the beach just down the road."

Steve and Lesley are wonderful, welcoming hosts and made our holiday feel like a home from home. My one problem, due to my arthritic knees, was getting up from the sofa which is quite low but a big plus for me was the grab rail in the shower. If only more people would put one in place for we folks who have some mobility issues. Loved it, loved it, loved it and will return. We will definitely return to

The accommodation is second to none. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and charming. The countryside and views exceptional. The hospitality from Lesley and Steve exceeded any expectations. What wonderful people. We were cared and catered for. Our privacy was respected at all times and we were welcomed with open arms. You will not be disappointed. Exceptional is an understatement. • "Exceptional!"

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, cosy, warm, dry, homely in an outstanding location. The cottage is deceptively larger than the picture, layout is quirky which adds to the enjoyment. Steve and Lesley who own the cottage have us a warm welcome and our outstanding hosts but are not in your face, you know they are there but none of the windows overlook their home so you do feel secluded but not miles from anyone. It is off a beaten track but you’re not far from a Welsh main road, so not loads of traffic but makes exploring Snowdonia really easy. The cottage is in a very quiet and elevated position so views are wonderful, so if you are looking for peace and quiet this is perfect. The cottage is lovely and warm and evenings are relaxing comfortable and very homely. Facilities are excellent, kitchen has everything you need and high spec, en-suite has lovely big shower and lounge has Sky tv, videos, log burner and gorgeous thick stone walls so well insulated. Book a stay here and you will not be disappointed (I even had a birthday cake left which was a fantastic surprise).

Very quirky design - entering onto a mezzanine landing with stairs down to the lounge or up to the bedroom. Off the beaten track yet within easy reach of a number of lovely places of interest.

  • "We thought it would of been better if the owner of the cottage had more information about the surrounding area, we just felt like we where a bit in the dark about what was available: such as where to walk or where the shops where also activities?"

    Taxis ect

Thank you for leaving feedback, on arrival at the property we met and I was able to give you the numbers for 3 local taxi firms, and some advice about the local area. There are leaflets and maps in the property for ideas on days out and walks etc, the property also has fast broadband to research the local area. I am very local to the property and I am on hand to answer any queries swiftly. Regards, the owner of Yr Hen Beudy. Property Owner
