Perched on the outskirts of the idyllic village of Berriew in Welshpool, is this wonderful two-bedroom annex, The Byre.

Attached to the owner’s home, a former Welsh long house, on their working dairy farm and enjoying easy access to the popular destinations of Welshpool and Newtown, and the Shropshire Hills AONB, The Byre is a fantastic dwelling for couples or a family of four seeking their next escape to Wales.

Step into the spacious sitting room, featuring exposed beams where you can look forward to lighting the gas fire and snuggling up on the plush sofas as your favourite show plays out on the Smart TV, perfect after a day of exploring.

The picturesque village of Berriew is one of the jewels in the Mid-Wales crown, just 5 miles from the English border, with black-and-white cottages, a majestic church, two country pubs, a restaurant, an award-winning butcher’s and a deli/cafe and the River Rhiw flowing through and the Montgomeryshire Canal nearby.
