The Cottage

The cottage was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well equipped.

Its central location was ideal and we enjoyed meals at The Three Tuns and The Castle. We would happily stay there again.

Wonderful quirky comfortable cottage.

Ample space for the four of us and beautifully decorated. Really well equipped kitchen and a lovely little patio leading off from it. Location was brilliant, especially for eating out. There is a little chime nearby that sounds every fifteen minutes and might be heard by light sleepers, but we did have windows open during the night as the weather was extremely hot. Beds very comfortable, Would stay again and most definitely recommend for a lovely break away.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at 41 High Street, Bishop's Castle for 15 days.

An absolutely lovely, clean, comfortable, well-maintained property close to everything in the town. We were a group of four and there was more than enough space for all. The property is well-equipped, plenty of hot water, excellent Wifi, and we especially loved sitting in the private garden off the kitchen. (NOTE: I normally stay with friends in Bishop's Castle, but as there were four of us, we decided to take a rental property so as not to intrude too much on friends. We couldn't have made a better choice and, should I return with a group of friends in future, I would not want to stay anywhere else.) Lastly, a shout-out to the Property Manager, Daniela, our contact for the property. We did not have the pleasure of meeting her, however, on the few occasions we contacted her (for information only), she was quick to respond, accommodating, and extremely helpful.

We all said this was the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in!

My son is 6'6" tall and struggled with the low beams at first, but we soon got used to them. The cottage itself was beautifully set up, and the location is fantastic, so much to do in Bishops Castle itself, not to mention within a short drive in every direction. Special thanks to the housekeep Daniela who came round within a few minutes when we accidentally locked ourselves out soon after arriving, and let us back in.

The property is simply superb.

Nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and well equipped. It’s centrally located so very convenient for all local amenities - shops, pubs and cafes etc. The booking process was seamless with comprehensive pre-visit instructions and recommendations from the owners/house keeper. We had cause to speak to Daniela from the Property Management company during our stay and she was excellent, couldn’t be more accommodating. I will recommend this property to others and am certain to be back myself.

The property was beautiful and the location was perfect being on the main street.

The milk and brownies were very much appreciated. It was also well equipped for cooking. I could have done with a mixing bowl, whisk and scales but only because it was pancake day so I had to improvise. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This is such a unique and sympathetically restored cottage.

We arrived in the dark so it was great the outside light and hall lights were left on for us. It was lovely and warm and very homely. Lots of space. Lovely comfy beds. A great welcome pack. Lovely outdoor space which is south facing. I could just imagine sitting out there on a summer’s evening annoying a glass of wine. Stunning views from upstairs. All very clean and tidy. We also received a very comprehensive welcome email with lots of useful info before we arrived. A great collection of books. Loved our few days here. Thank you

This is a beautiful cottage, everything the photos promise and more.

Super comfy beds, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and spotless throughout. The decor shows off the character of the cottage and it has a lovely homely feel throughout. Communication was excellent and lots do see and do in Bishop’s Castle and the surrounding area, would thoroughly recommend.
