  • "Absolutely first class property."

Set in a stunning location with fabulous views front and back. Having done rental in this country and abroad this is one of the best we have stayed in. The house is in a fantastic location even on the not such good days weather wise there was always the wildlife birds woodpecker pheasants etc to watch. A really lovely environment to chill out from a busy working life. The owner has thought of everything for home from home experience. The bedding towels etc top class. There is no negatives about this house. The owner really warm and pleasant and very very helpful. We wish her every success for the future. The welcome goodies a lovely touch. Gill and Ivor James.

  • "We cannot recommend this property enough, it felt like home from home and Eirian being next door in our opinion made our stay more special."

The views are stunning from the front and rear. We were lucky enough to see foals over the back fence. There is so much to do locally and the house is a great base to explore North Wales.

  • "The cottage was delightful, in a quiet location and with lovely views."

It was in a perfect situation for our purpose of doing the Mary Jones Walk from Llanfihangel to Bala over five days. The well-equipped kitchen was a bonus and the detailed instructions very helpful. "Welcome" food items provided by our friendly and helpful host were much appreciated. Minor irritations such as the sticking bathroom door (noisy in the night!) and duvets that were too thick for our comfort in the mild weather, could easily be corrected. All-in-all a very good property that we would love to rent again.

  • "***PERFECT*** This is the only word to describe Maes Meillion."

We enjoyed a wonderful week in April at this property - enhanced by lovely sunny weather! The garden backs on to fields which were full of new born lambs bleating and birds singing - it was just so relaxing! The kitchen at Maes Meillion is the best equipped we have ever experienced in a holiday cottage. The whole property has been lovingly presented by Eirian, who is on hand just next door should you need her (very friendly but certainly not intrusive). If you are into walking and cycling - there are plenty of options to cater for all abilities - all within a 20 minute drive. We wish Eirian every success in her new business venture (though we would prefer this place to remain a secret, as it is bound to be fully booked after all the positive reviews being left!)

The owner has done a fab job with the property. Very clean and tidy. All essentials are in place, very well looked after, we would love to return in the summer one time as the weather was poor on some days. Noted to owner that Sykes says property has Sky and it now doesn’t. Owner is also lovely and very friendly

It's a beautiful bungalow with stunning views from the back garden. Really well equipped and spotless. Big, bright rooms and super comfy beds. Lots to do out and about. As a family with with a 3 and 5 year old we visited Barmouth, Fairbourne, kids loved the miniature railway and both have beautiful beaches. Harlech Castle, stunning, and we did a couple of the local walks. The owner is just next door and is extremely helpful and friendly and we had a few nice treats on arrival, thanks for a wonderful week.

The owner has really thought of everything, as soon as you walk through the door it has a wow factor! A lot of love & care has gone into the holiday home, something the owner should be very proud off. Was the perfect first staycation holiday for a family of five. Lots to do locally just a short drive away, two very lovely beaches close & just a lovely area to stay in, peaceful in the evenings & some lovely restaurants to also eat out in near by.
