  • “Salmon Cottage was just as advertised and exactly what we wanted.”

The grounds are beautiful and it so lovely to be able to sit and listen to the river Wye bubbling along and to be able to walk along our own private Stretch. Its not a luxury property, but is well equipped, clean and fab for a base to explore the area and sit and enjoy the scenery when you get back. The owners were delightful, brilliant with suggesting places to visit and even providing us with presents of Runner Beans and Cucumbers. The Elan Valley and the surrounding areas, were new to us ...

The Elan Valley and the surrounding areas, were new to us and are beautiful and totally central to so many things. It allowed us to walk in the Mountains, around Reservoirs and be able to visit places like Hay on Wye, where we hired Kayaks for the afternoon. We will certainly be back.
