    “Absolutely idyllic”

My wife, baby daughter, dog and I have just had the most wonderful stay at Brooke Lodge. Wern Newydd Farm is absolutely idyllic and the perfect place for a getaway. Despite the rain, the lodge was lovely and warm, perfect for a cozy night in. The owners Terry and Louise were the kindest hosts, nothing was too much trouble and made sure our little girl had everything she needed. But they even thought of the dog as well providing her with a bowl, blankets and even treats! In fact, the garden around the lodge is well enclosed and well kept, and the dog absolutely loved running round it. The lodge itself is very well equipped with a luxurious super king bed and a well stocked kitchen. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t hesitate and do it, you won’t regret it! We’ll be back next year and cannot wait to return. 5 stars from us!

Wern Newydd

Wern Newydd is a smallholding housing two delightful properties in the town of Llandysul. Rose Cottage is a lovely semi-detached annexe to the main farmhouse whilst Brook Lodge sits alongside the little stream with a surrounding verdant garden, ideal for sitting out and soaking up the rural atmosphere while the kids run around with the dog. Rose Cottage has a homely, inviting atmosphere with a mezzanine style bedroom overlooking the cosy sitting area. The bespoke super king-size bed exudes unique quality and style whilst the enchanting spiral staircase boasts elegance. They both comprise well-equipped kitchens for all your cooking needs, accommodating dining areas and fabulous hot tubs to enjoy with a refreshing glass of wine. Brook Lodge sleeps four people in two bedrooms; a super king-size with an en-suite cloakroom and a children's bunk room. The modern shower room exudes a Scandinavian feel with light wood panelling all along the walls in a quality finish. These cottages are ideal for a couple and a small family wanting to get together in the idyllic countryside. Why not dine out for the evening together? The Daffodil pub/restaurant is very well renowned locally, is dog-friendly and is about half a mile walk at the end of the farm track. There is lots of walking available, kayaking on the river Teifi with Llandysul Paddlers and Brechfa forest not too far for mountain biking. Llandysul is a thriving little village boasting a range of shops, tea rooms and even its own canoeing club and national cycle route 82. With plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, Wern Newydd provides two wonderful properties from which to discover a lovely part of Wales.
