  • "We really loved the cottage which was warm and cosy with a relaxing well thought out colour scheme and had everything we needed."

As we enjoy preparing our own food, the kitchen too was well-equipped....a lovely home to come back to after days out! I enjoyed taking the dog out over the Grove behind the house and walking along the river in green and peaceful surroundings, such a beautiful location! It was a little disappointing that the log-burner in the lounge wasn't in operation while we were there however, the house wasn't cold. Thank you Jessica and Louise, I will definitely come back should I find myself in the area again.

This is wonderful to read, thank you! I’m so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and were able to enjoy the gorgeous location with your dog. I share your feelings about the sitting room stove, and have a local fitter standing by to install the new one as soon as we get a break in bookings. I hope you were able to enjoy the one in the dining room at least. Please do think of Groveside Cottage when you return to the area, we’d love to welcome you back. Property Owner

  • "Amazing stay."

Gorgeous property and location. Only downside was shower leaked down into living room on day 1 which was a bit worrying but rang the property manager who allowed us to use shower in main property for the stay. Will definitely be back

Hello there, thank you for your kind comments - I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thanks also for your understanding about that leak, which has been sorted this morning. We'll look forward to welcoming you all back in the near future. Property Owner
