  • "Owners are so accommodating and approachable Property was located in a quiet corner and transfer of luggage was via a green which we didn’t have an issue with."

some people on this site used a trolley to manoeuvre their luggage by but we didn’t find it A problem. The accommodation was very adequate and provided everything that we needed The beds were super comfy. To get to the beach is a 10 minute stroll via a roadside which is very quiet but once you get to the beach it offers everything that you need toilets cafés and Sandy dog friendly beach we had a fabulous weekend away thank you

  • "Window left of main entrance door was difficult to lock because the top hinges were worn, only a lift upwards allowed us to fix it."

Requires a Window Specialist to fix it.

Thank you for your review, we were totally unaware of the issue with the window which has been repaired and so grateful that a kind neighbour helped you. We were delighted with your other feedback giving a perfect score for cleanliness and so pleased to hear you may book the chalet again in the future. Property Owner

  • "The property is on a quiet chalet park only a short walk from the beach and local amenities."

On arrival the owner had left several welcome items including treats for the dog. The chalet is well kitted out and quit modern in appearance.. Would definitely stay there again if we were to return to Mundesley for another holiday.

  • "Visible surfaces clean."

Lots of dust under beds, furniture etc, Found a pair of dirty socks under the sofa. Dirty grill pen found in oven. My parents had limited mobility and there is a walk from the car to the chalet. Well equipped, comfortable and peaceful.

Thank you for your review, I cannot apologise enough for the shortfall in cleaning that you experienced. We hire a professional cleaning company to service the chalet and I shall be taking up the issues with them. I am surprised by the level of dust you have noted and shall be visiting the property to carry out a full inspection on the next changeover day and ensure the issues are rectified. Property Owner

  • "Whilst the accommodation had extensive facilities and your communication was excellent, the site was not what I would call a holiday park."

It stated it would be child free which it wasn’t. Also the ‘park’ was sold to us as dog friendly but was dog tolerant at best, although the accommodation was dog friendly. The other chalets were owned and the residents looked at us disapprovingly whilst sitting outside. We were approached and told dogs had to be on leads and tied up when outside. We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable, so sat inside. I also wasn’t impressed that we had to split our household waste from food and bottles and take them to the village to dispose of. So, for me, this wasn’t a holiday park it was more like chalets in a square and if you just happen to go behind the chalets you would be challenged.. description needs changing and a list of dos and donts needs to be listed. Had I have known what I experienced I most certainly would not have booked it and the price for 3 nights was ridiculously expensive for what we experienced. Most certainly not worth it I’m afraid.

Thank you for your review, however I am disappointed to learn of your experience at Seaward Crest. Seaward Crest is a chalet park for holiday makers, all of which are privately owned and I am sorry that some owner/s made you feel unwelcome. No other guests have commented on this. The description of the property clearly states “the holiday park is quiet and offers extensive grassland, ideal for children to play”, therefore we don’t understand where the child free comes from. The chalet park is dog friendly, although as correctly stated dogs do need to be on a lead, I will change this in the description, however the beach nearby is dog friendly. With regards to household waste, all glass bottles do need to go to the recycling bins in the village, the local authority do not offer recycling collections. Property Owner

  • "A pleasant chalet in a quiet holiday park."

Well located within acceptable walking distance of the beach. The lack of a footpath to the chalet was inconvenient requiring a walk over uncut grass with heavy bags. Wellies required if it rains! The shower was very small and there was no mirror in front of the wash basin. The chalet was well stocked with equipment with fresh milk in the fridge and welcoming tea and coffee.

  • "We had a fantastic 2 week holiday."

The chalet is on a lovely quiet site with fields behind. Only a short walk down to the beach and shops. Chalet itself was great. Lovely and clean with lots of extras to make our stay more comfortable. Beds really comfortable and great little kitchen. Would highly recommend both for couples and families.

  • "Great base for exploring North Norfolk coast."

Mundesley has a good selection of shops for basic needs. Easy walk to the town and beech. Good circular countryside walk without needing to use the car. The chalet catered for a comfortable holiday as was chilly for time of year but we were warm and cosy.
