The property

Cliff Cottage is a wonderful pet-friendly detached house nestled in the village of Mundesley, in Norfolk.

Perfect for families seeking a coastal escape, this abode features an indoor heating swimming pool, serene sea vistas and partial ground-floor living.

Arriving at Cliff Cottage, you pull onto the gravel parking area beside this lovely detached five‑bedroom coastal house, where the gentle hush of the surroundings immediately encourages you to slow your pace.

From the front, the property feels quietly welcoming, while to the rear, far‑reaching views stretch towards the sea, drawing your gaze beyond the garden and anchoring your stay firmly to the North Norfolk coast. Step inside and the ground floor opens into a warm, sociable space where wooden flooring flows through the living and dining room.

At its heart sits a large dining table that comfortably accommodates everyone, setting the scene for long breakfasts, shared suppers and evenings that drift by in easy conversation.

A generous corner sofa rests on a textured rug, perfectly placed for relaxed nights in front of the Sky Stream TV, making this a room designed for togetherness as much as downtime.

The kitchen feels bright and homely, finished with white units, tiled flooring and a small sitting area gathered around a circular breakfast table where morning light gently filters in.

Well equipped for group stays, it includes a dishwasher alongside everything needed to prepare simple meals or enjoy local produce.

A nearby utility area keeps practicalities neatly tucked away, housing a washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee maker, air fryer and fridge freezer, while a ground‑floor shower room with a separate WC adds everyday ease, especially after days spent outdoors.

A wide spiral staircase curves upwards to the first floor, adding character as you move through the house.

Here, a second sitting room offers a quieter retreat from the main living spaces below.

Softly carpeted and styled with armchairs, a sofa and a fluffy rug, it’s a calm place to pause, whether you’re watching a film on the second Sky Stream TV or simply looking out through large windows that frame open views towards the sea at the rear.

The bedrooms are thoughtfully arranged across both floors, offering flexibility and comfort for a variety of groups.

A king‑size bedroom with its own en‑suite shower room provides a private haven upstairs, while further sleeping options include a flexible super‑king zip‑and‑link room, a ground‑floor double, a single bedroom and a playful bunk room.

Each space is bright, carpeted and designed with restful nights in mind, complemented by a family bathroom on the first floor.

One of Cliff Cottage’s most memorable features sits within the house itself.

The large indoor heated swimming pool forms part of the main property, allowing you to slip into warm water whatever the weather outside.

Complete with its own shower and WC, it offers a moment of calm and indulgence at any time of day, whether you’re starting the morning gently or unwinding after a coastal walk.

Outside, the garden invites you to linger in the fresh sea air.

There are places to settle with a morning coffee, enjoy alfresco lunches or gather as evening falls, with outdoor seating, a barbecue area, fairy lights and a charming Honey Pot corner creating a relaxed atmosphere that carries on long after sunset.

From Mundesley, days out unfold at an easy pace.

Coastal wanderings lead to Cromer, where clifftop paths trace the shoreline, beach huts soften the seafront and the pier stretches into the sea beneath wide Norfolk skies.

Turning inland, the quiet waterways of the Norfolk Broads offer a gentler rhythm, drifting past reed beds and open marshland where wind, water and birdsong shape the day.

For something steeped in history, Blickling Estate lies within easy reach, its sweeping parkland, ancient trees and stately house inviting unhurried walks that feel perfectly matched to the county’s timeless calm.

Cliff Cottage is a relaxed coastal base where sea air, space and simple pleasures define your stay.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £600.
