  • "On arrival we was amazed at County Farm Barn it was great for all the family and the cinema room was great and the pool ."

    The pool table was played on every day but one of the cues didn't have a tip on it but it was fine. The kitchen was great and the oven cooked the food perfectly. Had most things we needed apart from a potatoes masher I know a lot of people don't use them we just used a fork to mash the potatoes in the end. Need to do something about the flies as it was a big issue in the house when you have the doors open which you needed to do as was so hot. I would suggest air-con as the bedrooms and the other rooms get so hot in this climate now and there is lots of glass in the place . I feel some of the bedrooms need an extra window as only have a small bathroom window and big patio doors which you can't leave open at night.. Overall though the place was great apart from the pool was turned off we think a couple of days bedfore we left as it cooled right down and the lights around the pool didn't come on those two days either . We had to go buy fiy killer then only to find there was some under the sink but that stuff isn't great to spray around if like me you suffer with asthma. I would go back but not in school holidays again as to expensive around that time. Beds were very comfortable and very clean. I would give the place as a whole 9/10 would have been 10 but for the flies and the heat in the bedrooms.

    Thanks for your review, sorry your hear one of the pool cues was missing a tip I will get that fixed these are checked each change over, I will get a replacement potato masher as there should of been one in the property. With great British weather with the few weeks of the year air con would be ideal but is very expensive and not a quick install and don’t think it would be beneficial over the whole year. We chose all bedrooms to have patio doors instead of windows leading to the pool area for easy access and a luxury feel, all bedrooms have fans and additional ones throughout the property to aid with any hot weather. The bifold doors wrapping around kitchen and living area have had a uv film on them to reduce heat and sunlight as blinds cannot be fitted to these to work effectively with them being open with the wind and more than likely to be broken that’s why we went with film. The pool is on all year round and I am notified on an app if there is an issue and had no notification and would have been resolved straight away. It alerts me if the pumps or pool drops below 28 degrees. And with the flies in a rural area, and a pool we do experience a few extra venturing into the house but not out of control. The fly spray is under the sink for any nuisance flys. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks again county farm barn Property Owner

  • "We had a great weekend with three generations of our family."

    The pool was a hit with the children and the hot tub a hit for the adults. With the pool table and cinema room it was every thing we needed for a great time. I liked the fact that there was two bedrooms one side of the living area and two the other so the oldies could get some peace! Would definitely book again.

  • "The barn was an amazing place for our whole family to spend Christmas and made it very special."

    The hot tub was great, so much space for the children to run around in and still be seen in one open space. The only let downs were the floor tiles have lifted in all the bedrooms, some a little unsafe, the thermostat in the cinema room wasn’t working and a panel on the cot has come away. However, this didn’t dampen our overall experience of the barn and it would make a great summer stay with use of the pool once all fixed.

The heating is regularly maintained so will get the engineer to have a look.   • "We had the best stay, it was great to get away And laugh with the girls."

    The house is incredible and the facilities amazing. It is decorated to a beautiful standard, and so clean in the house. We all loved the pool and hot tub. The only downside to these was that there wasn't any net to clear out any flies from the pool or hottub. There were lots in both. The hot tub had not also been cleaned out prior to our arrival, so there was a lot of scum around the tub. This wasn't necessarily an issue we just gave it a little wipe, however the flies as I mentioned were a bit off putting. The space in the property was great with the layout! We honestly loved our time, and would like to return again next year.

  • "This is a fantastic property."

    The pool is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and it is lovely and warm and the hot tub was so relaxing. The facilities in the property were spot on, it was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The large cinema room was an extra bonus on the one day it rained. Well done to the owners.

  • "Facilities were excellent and much enjoyed."

    It is all on one level so ideal for people with reduced mobility. Bedrooms were comfortable and baths and showers were great. It was spacious for the 10 of us not to feel cramped at all. The swimming pool, hot tub and cinema room meant we didn't need to go out for entertainment as the children were occupied the whole time. Guests who plan to cook, need to bring basic cooking stuff like oil, condiments etc. plus tea and coffee as very little of that is provided. The children are already asking when we can go back there!

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at County Farm Barn."

    The facilities were great but cleanliness let it down slightly. The tiled flooring around the pool and hot tub hadn’t been cleaned and was quite dirty and the floor in the barn was also not cleaned properly. Our socks were filthy after a few minutes walking around inside. The glass shelf where the glasses were stored in the kitchen was also dirty. The cinema room and large sitting room were fantastic, but consoles weren’t supplied to play the video games. If we had known we could have bought our own. The pool table was great and we loved the hot tub. It was a little too cold for the swimming pool. I would definitely recommend especially if the cleaning issues were resolved. A few more pods for the Tassimo would have been well received as well.

And i can assure you the floors were hoovered and mopped before your stay, In the booking description never states that the property has a games console.   • "This property is amazing."

    It is so big and accommodates 11 easily. There are board games to play although we brought our own as we didn’t realise. Beds were really comfy and bedrooms were clean and fresh. En suits were so modern and a great size. Outside space was fantastic. I would highly recommend a stay at county house barn,

Country Farm Barn is a gorgeous barn conversion located near South Walsham in Norwich, Norfolk.

Perfect for a large family or friends for a special occasion, Country Farm Barn offers outstanding accommodation, both inside and out.

Arranged around a central courtyard, the accommodation is simply breathtaking with an extensive outdoor area which includes a fabulous heated swimming pool complete with an outdoor shower/ changing room and WC, a hot tub and a barbecue area.
