  • "Lovely place to stay, large rooms ( and biggest closet I have ever seen in a rental place !"

). The small complex is gated so feel extra secure. Very secluded location so peaceful. The place is one of 5 in a quad. Fairly central in location to alot of places in north Northfolk, so plenty to do in the surrounding area. A selection of coffees and teabags along with a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived. I found the double bed a bit on the hard side especially on the first night , but soon got used to it, and this is more my personal view. Partner slept like a log on it . I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a ncid peaceful time away .

  • "A very comfortable and well equipped place to stay."

Good position for many attractions, although very small lanes to approach the place. Yes the en-suite shower was on the small side but we managed. Would we return to stay, yes.

  • "Holly Berry is in a lovely position to sightsee Norfolk."

The kitchen facilities and appliances were fine for cooking our meal, everything we needed. Big enough table comfy sofa quiet position. The television could do with an update. The bed in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable you could feel the springs. After two bad nights I used the spare duvet as a mattress topper. I didn't feel it had been cleaned as well as it could have been. There was a resident spider in the bedroom. The ensuite looked a bit grubby.

  • "A beautiful conversion, one of a small number around a central courtyard."

Very warm and cosy yet airy with high vaulted ceilings. Comfortable and well furnished and equipped. A great location for exploring this lovely quiet part of Norfolk.

White House Farm Properties

These attractive brick-and-pantile cottages are nestled in a gravelled courtyard of five properties and are situated in a tranquil village of Wood Norton amidst the Norfolk countryside. Sympathetically converted from former farm buildings, these single-storey cottages are ideally suited for those wishing to explore the glorious North Norfolk coastline and the picturesque, historic nearby market towns of Fakenham and Holt. Each of these cottages offers bright, spacious accommodation, traditionally furnished with modern facilities. Well-equipped and welcoming, they share a large, sheltered courtyard and have the benefit of their own private patio where you can relax and unwind. For the younger members of the family, the cottages have a splendid communal play area with swings, a slide, and a seesaw, as well as a table tennis room. The popular Georgian market town of Holt has excellent amenities with a wide choice of interesting independent shops, pubs, tea rooms, and restaurants. Be sure to take a trip on the steam train from here, which runs to the traditional seaside town of Sheringham, or take a short drive to the coast, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a haven for birdwatchers and walkers. With miles of sandy beaches and majestic dunes, these cottages are ideally placed for taking boat trips to see the seals or simply visiting the RSPB reserves and coastal paths. Well worth a visit is the historic city of Norwich, with its magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets hosting museums, galleries and excellent shopping facilities.
