King's Lynn is a historic, medieval port dating back to the 12th century, situated on the River Great Ouse. A treasure trove for history lovers, the town boasts grand merchant houses, art galleries and museums, and the Custom House, built by Henry Bell in 1683, which is a Grade I listed building.
